Streuböden & Lärchfilzkogel (†)

Ces deux télécabines pulsées sont l’axe principal de la station de Fieberbrunn (Saalbach) dans le domaine skiable de Skicircus.
Elles permettent d’atteindre le Lärchfilzkogel situé à 1645 m d’altitude.
La première section comporte quatre trains de cinq cabines groupées, contrairement à la seconde section qui lui ne possède uniquement des trains composés de quatre cabines.
Au niveau technique, ces deux installations sont complètement identiques.
Les deux gares aval sont motrices et tension (à contre-poids), tandis que les deux gares amont sont de simples retour fixes.
Les panneaux solaires sur les cabines de la 2e section sont destinés à la transmission radio des haut-parleurs dans les cabines, en cas de panne.
Elles font désormais parties des dernières télécabines pulsées du constructeur Doppelmayr encore en exploitation.
L’ancien télésiège fixe monoplace "Streuböden" a été livré en octobre 1959 par le constructeur tyrolien Felix Wopfner, avec ses habituels pylônes en béton.
Cet appareil fut prolongé en 1968 par un second tronçon menant au sommet du Lärchfilzkogel et plus tard doublé par un télésiège fixe biplaces.

I've been familiar with this cable car since the early 90's when we visited nearby St. Jakob every year with our father. I've always found it a very odd way of constructing a cable car and even now i still don't understand the appeal and logic of building them like this.

@@GondelbahnMonde I agree with the maintenance, that will definitely save money. I don't think the increased driving speed adds much though, since the entire thing must be brought to a standstill every minute or so, and move slowly while the gondolas move through the station. Having a short look at the capacity of other systems, a lot of TSF2's will come near the throughput of Streuböden while doing only 2,3 m/s and even an older tcd6 like hornbahn easily has more throughput at 5 m/s

Dommage que les moteurs soient aveugles. Les pulsés ne sont pas éprouvés, à se voir remplacés, tel aussi Furgg-Schwarzsee? Bizarre qu'outre-Mer les installations sont encore bonnes, tandis qu'en Europe il faut tout casser.

C’est son dernier hiver. Ils seront remplacés l’été prochain, en 2024. Par contre, ils seront réutilisés en Amérique du Nord et Madagascar.
