i lived on the island 1994-1996. visited it again 98 & 2009. I saw it go through a couple of Cyclones and coral bleaching events. The last trip 2009 it had some of the densest coral growth I saw. It gave me hope in mother natures ability to heal itself. Special place, Thanks Jack & Fran.

Guys, I’ve said it before. Congrats on the milli subs in such a short period of time. Such an achievement. There’s such a rawness to your videos backed with education and it makes it all so enjoyable to watch! I particularly love that you have shown so much of Australia’s coastlines and not the ‘typical popular’ spots that people show around the world. You stick to the unique, unspoiled and untouched areas which I love! ❤

There are red land crabs in Costa Rica on the Pacific side that look the same as the ones you showed. They come out of the jungle and eat a lot of plants and random stuff in yards. They ate my kevlar fish cleaning gloves that were cut proof. And they get run over by the millions, then stink. And the live ones are happy to eat the dead ones. They're a bit of a pain for a few weeks or a month. Great video, what a beautiful place.

You see this is why i love watching you both on your channel, not only are you both wonderful people you're incredibly inteligent too, as soon as i saw the corals and the damage that had been done to them i knew for myself they were probably best left alone, i love the fact you recognised that for yourselves and chose the best course of action, for 35 years now i've been harping on about how we should do more to protect our oceans, so so many people have ignored what i say or thought what i say isn't needed and i feel thats very sad, it is however really lovely to see you both do right by what we should all love and nurcher 🙂 much love from the UK, keep spreading the good work 🙂

From there I have been before on two trips touring the Sir Edward Pellow group of islands and then up to Groote Eylandt, then up above Blue Mud Bay. Regards Alex T.

@@rajahhindi3921 Hi Rajah, I hope you are having a good day. I agree with you about Groote Eylandt; but if you fish to the north East Island of Groote, on the western side in 23 metres of water I caught two, five kg long nose Emperor, 2 Red emperor in between the two Islands in 3 meters of water, in the same location I was catching Queen after Queen fish for a solid hour before I gave up before I broke my good 7 foot rod. Chasm Island you can catch as many Coral Trout as you can handle if the Barracoota don't bite them in half, on the west side; but on the east side of Chasm, big Mangrove jack on the shore under your feet, Emperor and well to the west of Chasm I caught several large, small mouth Nannygai next to a very large rock sticking out of the water, oysters the length of my hand, eight inches or 20cm long shell, on the rocks, yummy. Woodah Island on the west side, Finger Mark Bream up to 75cm long; and on other Islands with steep cliffs ( eagles nest ) to the North West of Woodah Threadfin Fin Salmon up to 75cm and heaps of Emperor. Rajah, it all depends on where you fish. Good fishing buddy.
