People always seem to talk and argue about which pros are in the lead, but I feel people should not worry about it so much, as everyone will get a lead at some point. Like Amy this week and Oti a week ago. I am sure Dianne will get a lead eventually too. Also I loved this dance, it was beautiful❤️❤️❤️

Actually, I think it is quite important. This was Amy's first lead in the two years she's been there. She should get more. Same goes for Dianne. Also this dance was one of the best they've ever done in my opinion 💕

One of the most beautiful routines I have seen. Personally loved the song they chose, it talks about life and how no matter how difficult & hard it gets you need to rise up from it and believe in yourself enough to keep going, keep fighting & keep doing amazing things.

Surely the 100th anniversary of armistice should have been about remembrance and reflection? It is most disappointing to see a modern routine at such a 'once in a lifetime' moment. These guys have every other Remembrance Sunday for routines like this. And routines like this certainly have their place. But on such a monumental anniversary, surely the songs and dances of the era would have been infinitely more moving?
@fairlyvague826 жыл бұрын

@anonymouspeacefulperson61996 жыл бұрын
Lynn Cw I agree with Ryan, my history teacher always said that sometimes you have to go back in time to see how wars were started, see things from different perspectives in order to fully understand how tribes and clans were treated by each other, how they responded with each other and how to overcome differences in order for history not to repeat itself and for world peace to prevail. Probably sounds screechy - it’s probably the singer displaying the emotions of having lived through wars and traumatic events and dealing with ptsd.

Low key kinda an insult on the 100 anniversary of WW1 to honour only service women...
@noahgraham59126 жыл бұрын
I'm not disagreeing. But men are usually the ones in the "spotlight" when we think of war. We never think of the women who layed down their lives too.

@@noahgraham5912 I agree 100% but I feel like they shouldve added Men and Women to this dance as millions of men died. More then women.

@@electro_x436 they did. The point I'm saying is that we honour the men. Yes. That's important. But we never honour the women. I've went to countless services over the course of last week with my cadets and not ONCE was women mentioned
@Angelalansberru6 жыл бұрын
Sophie Graham All servicepoeple require recognition for their sacrifice regardless, but if we just look at the numbers, in WW1 on both sides 40m military casualties and 2m civilian deaths and about 6m civilian deaths due to war related famine. Since women didn’t serve in the front lines in WW1 and 80000 served as non combatants... let’s say even if all the 80k died and 75% of the civilians were woman that puts the death toll to 42m men : 6m women of which none had to go through the ordeal of the trenches. On the 100 an anniversary of the “great” war this is kinda a slap in the face to focus on.
@numbersix1005 жыл бұрын

This is amazing, but isn't it sort of glorifying war? I recognise the bravery of everyone who fought in the World Wars, but I don't want it to happen again. Some Armistice Day things seem to celebrate the war, rather than thank the soldiers etc. EDIT: Ok, so maybe not this in particular, but is there anything that comes to mind that does glorify war?
@romainsavioz54666 жыл бұрын
Nope
