The most amazing thing about the Koreans and Japanese is their absolute honesty to towards their customers. Whether it is a $7 meal or $100 one, they give more than value to their customers. No shortcuts, no gimmicks. No wonder these countries became Asian tigers. Lots to learn for others.

You remind my of my stepdad, Fon. He would get excited over food especially unique and foreign cuisine. He would eat anything you put in front of him (one of my best memories of him was at his mother's funeral and we all went out to dinner afterwards. He tried to get me to eat a fish eyeball and he explained to me why he enjoyed it so much. I didn't try it but just loved watching him get so excited about it). Thank you for your videos. It almost feels like I'm watching my stepdad enjoy good food again! (He ended up passing away almost 10 years ago and I miss him greatly)

Fun Tip: If you're in Korea in the summer, I would highly recommend that you attend a baseball game. The atmosphere is awesome and the food too!

They have other food options as well, and everything is very affordable. Also you can get a liter of beer for about $1.87 USD, and they have convenience stores in the stadium and maintain the same prices as if you were outside the venue.

I think I recognize this area (in Jongro, across from Tapgol Park, right?) and if so, I recognize the Sundae place. I noticed it when I was last in Korea a year ago, and there was always a line outside it when I went by, so I figured I'd put it off. That there is still a line a year later is impressive! Actually any professional eater will tell you to eat super heavy 3 to 4 hours before hand then go in. It stretches your stomach so next time you eat u have more room. If you eat light or don't eat your stomach shrinks

I actually went to King Sundae when I studied abroad like 3 years ago. It was actually really good. I wasn’t the biggest fan of Korean food despite being there for an entire year but that place changed my mind. That and street food🤣🤣

I accidentally found your channel tonight. Wow, amazing! So far I have watched about 7 or 8 of the Asian cities buffets. Every city you have been to,, either I lived in or my Dad lived in. All I can say is wow about that seafood and I’m Nova Scotian...so much lobster yum Edit I want to go to Korea just for that soup, and that expensive buffet. I don’t eat a lot though but the hubby would love it! He’s from Vancouver so we love seafood, well shellfish anyways
