The absolute best beef I've had in the world is Hanwoo in Korea because of exactly what you said Mike. Hanwoo has that perfect balance between lean and fatty. Wagyu is too fatty and American is too lean. Hanwoo just has that indescribably euphoric flavor married with the right amount of tenderness.

Go to Jonggak Station. Use exit number 3, 8 or 11 (11 will put you closest to the noodles). If you take one of the exits I mentioned, keep walking straight down the street when you get up the stairs. At the first big intersection with a traffic light, take a left. A short distance down the street, the street and sidewalk will veer off to the left. Right there, to your left, you will see a little alley with the food tents. 김 바보 is the last one on the left side of the alley. I was there in May and the Jajangmyeon was still 3,000 won. After eating, if you want to walk off some of that food, go back out to that intersection where the traffic light is and cross the street. That will put you at Tapgol Park 탑골공원. It has a lot in information about The March 1st Movement 삼일 운동. This is the neighborhood where the movement started.
