420HP is typically advertised as "Crank HP" or how much the engine makes at the crankshaft/flywheel, before drivetrain loss- meaning the power getting absorbed through the transmission, driveshaft, differential, axles, wheels, tires, etc. This is also on our old Mustang Dyno which is a heartbreaker for numbers, as you can see- the truck did it's stock baseline (before we touched it) at 330whp / 371 ft.lbs, so the thing would be to look at the gains- stock: 330whp, tiny procharger (no other mods) it did 436whp, gaining +106whp, which could be a lot more with other supporting mods, especially a cam and headers. While every dyno is different, for reference, our new Dynojet chassis dyno we see right around 15% drivetrain loss from advertised HP to measured HP at the tire.
