I like the Mercer & Two Handed Spear personally but one of my fav parts about this game is the fact that there’s no clear cut #1 weapon that’s miles above the rest and a decent player could probably still do pretty well and enjoy themselves using any/every weapon in the game; it really expands the experience.

Everytime I play, it's almost as if defense just gets totally zerged and pushed back. Attackers win 90% of the time. Awesome video. I need to practice my feints a lot more.

The best way to play the game is to equip longsword, go first person, hit the console and type "togglehud". Hold W, spam C and you're off!

Can't go wrong with the spear that can slash. Messer > Longsword, but the longsword is good no matter how bad you play just because it's so fast whereas messer can be good in spite of how bad you're playing which just makes the longsword so much more of a comfort weapon like the greatsword can be. Poor Jester catching the spitroast at 13:24, speared on both ends.
