This is on of my type of games. On the one hand, I want them to release it soon, but on the other hand, I hope they take the time to optimize it properly and work out the bugs. Lets hope we will get another awesome VR game.

Im already annoyed with Joyway, I purchased stride on Quest 2 in Aug 21. Mainly as it had a full campaign promised. Joyway have agreed to give steam users a free copy of Fates if they bought the game before June 22. But only on steam and no other platform, so as I bought it on oculus I don't get the campaign I was promised when I bought it. Joyway are quite a quick buck developer, many games they make stay in an early access state and they don't deliver on promises and just move on to the next project. I think this needs to be pointed out on you tube channels to put pressure on Joyway to keep to their word.

This game looks like it is taking a lot of insight from the Boneworks games with the heavy emphasis on physics-based combat and environmental interactivity. This game seems like this studio’s most ambitious game yet, and I’m honestly super excited. Joyway are definitely improving with every game they release, and this seems like a BIG leap forward for them. Can’t wait!

I do want to point out that the developers promised to add the campaign to the first game but went back on their word per the oculus reviews.

However, after carefully reviewing community feedback, in less than a week we have officially announced a change in our plans and began developing a great, comprehensive story-driven game with over 5 hours of gameplay and new content. Accordingly, Fates is a separate full-fledged game. We hope Fates brings a lot of fun to our players!

Striderror's Fatesdge VR looks different than I remember. I thought it was mostly whiter and red, not white and blue.

I don’t know if I’m willing to pay an extra price just for a more than likely ungodly short campaign that should have been unpaid dlc in the first place. It’s gonna have to do more than just impress. This game series has made such weird choices. From the multyplayer having a completly different vibe from the rest of the game(s) to them seperating the storymode from the original stride. I understand why they seperated it into 2 games but the original stride feels kinda of incomplete rn. Still excited for this release, but a bit wary, they seem to be lost at times with what they want the game to be. It's also pretty weird for a parkour game to have stealth lol
