he was dead either way. Mage trades with abom, Valet survives and kills him. i don't get why that mage used volcanic potion.

he might not have, which is the point. In the position that strife was in, it literally costs him nothing to play eye for an eye since he was already relying on abomination damage to finish his opponent off.
