Its basically same thing as League of legends when a new character comes out they always make them OP on their first release so players can spend their money and buy them and once they’re in game long enough they severely nerf them in order to be even with other characters and this game is no exceptions

Honestly it’s kind of the same thing with deku. If you have strike Dabi or strike deku there’s not rlly any need to use the other skill sets unless it is just because they like using the set which is fair but damn strike Dabi is op 😂😂

I prefer to get Y to lvl 9 in technical dabi , cooldown is really short and fire is bigger and longer makes you more aggressive and more survivability, also good for close combat

i switch from strike back to technical every so often cause technical dabi was who i played since release they're both really good characters i'm still way better with technical dabi though got a 14 kill game with him yesterday i've been doing not too amazing with strike dabi though mostly cause i'm still in my normal dabi headspace where i need to land my gamma to throw them off before i can use my alpha i am an aggressive technical dabi and it works

It's crazy how similar Twice and the new Dabi are, they have the same gamma into beta combo but it's a little different. Both Dabi and Twice have an ability with insane tracking, but Twice's move hits 100% of the time while Dabi's move doesn't and can leave you vulnerable if it doesn't land.

I personally like both of them equally depending what role I’m playing in the team. I got so good at getting loose with technical Dabi that movement never became a problem. I always max out my Gamma because his barrier is good both offensively and defensively

Honestly I think this alt quirk set is the best and most fluid, it’s what I thought the other quirk sets would’ve been like in the moves being cohesive as opposed to just individual moves labelled as a set

I'm gonna be honest here...I genuinely hope that I DON'T get strike Dabi. I simply like his technical counterpart more tbh. Srike Dabi is honestly just strike shiggy but with a little bit more mobility. I honestly hope I get either red deku or blue bakugo instead. Edit: I just got the new Dabi TWICE just today 😂😂

The damage on the beta of Strike Dabi is honestly just too much. Every one I encounter starts with an amplified beta, then immediately follows up with another and just like that I'm Downed with no chance to actually do anything about it especially with the unnecessarily insane tracking and that's when I have 350hp myself, I can't even imagine being a 250hp Rapid against one. I'm not hating on the skill set but fr even Shiggy grab doesn't do that much even if it does deal true HP damage. The rest of his kit is fine but I can already see some nerfs coming his way at least with damage reduction to the beta specifically. It should take more effort for people to reach 10K in a match than it does for him.

Its a slippery slope when it comes to dabi because he's supposed to be hyper aggressive. When you factor in how it leaves him open and drains hp since he's in gamma mode, lowering its damage might hurt him. Its a case where people get used to and will know when to beam him down when he's open. Over nerfing him could lead to a case of shoto where he feels without an identity because how his damage, fire rate, and stun time were all nerfed. Bare minimum if we keep the damae and tracking his gamma should burn more of his hp to make up for that, essentially making him a glass cannon type. Potentially even lower his hp to 300 or 250 if people still feel his damage is too high.

He not a braindead ass character that people love playing😂 actually have to think and find a way out of situations without having a "get out of jail for free" ass move. You can still play aggressive with Technical Dabi

You can play aggressive with him, by maxing alpha or sum shit but even with that, alpha buffs are minor. I was the most aggressive Tech Dabi for a while but that shit got old. Hit 10K with him. But the most viable way to play him is defensively now, beta or gamma max. But it works better than I would've ever dreamed of. I do beta max bc I'm not a Psyken fan though.
