First. But genuinely this is becoming my favorite series i love the the work put into it and as a African American the 100 means a lot to me thank you for doing this and for putting the history out there of a era usually forgotten in war air wise and the raf aren't forgotten about after ww2

@@devinhorner2358 definitely a person not afraid to show my pride and my history but I'm mixed too white and black i actually had a great great grand cousin vito who was a jeep driver in ww2 in the Italian front and some ties to the red tails themselves in my blood. But the aircraft themselves where picking up where the Germans left off in the late 40s with the "jet powered plane" which we just know as a jet and actually i have seen a few f1 planes myself and sat in the cockpit it was amazing to say the least. But this and the raf series shine light the the most revolutionary era of air combat and refining the jet power plant and you can definitely star as a camera man in my movie because the camera work is absolutely gorgeous. Are brothers and sisters shall never be forgotten as long as we live we will honor them on memorial day as the brave men and women slipped into the cockpit of a plane and touched the hand of god and some got to live peacefully with him in a place to someday be born again as this series does something to honor them in a way respected and no funny things just a simulation just a taste of what they went through because you have touched me in a way i haven't been before on KZbin thank you for everything

LOL the most frustrating thing about them is that some times they're great and other times they chase butterflies, and I can't tell if its simply pilot skill level or they glitch out or what

In my experience I found that skill doesn't seem to affect it at all. For a while I thought that maybe the wingman's rank affected their behavior, as in a 2Lt. Player having a Maj. wingman would equate to the wingman just essentially fucking off to do his own thing because he outranks you. Probably however it has to do with if the wingman is directly aggro'd by the AI AA/SAM/Aircraft.

The First African - Amercian fighter pilot was Eugene Bullard was in 1917.Eugene Bullard served in Lafayette Escadrille , flying a Spad VII . I found this great video very informative.

Everything is on full realism except for the HUD, which I turn on and off manually to simulate better radio instructions from controllers.

Thirdwire is selling it again (at least last time I looked). I think I put a link in the description. There's a Win 7 version (which is what this is) and there's supposed to be a Win 10 version coming eventually (or maybe is out already, I don't know)

The AI fires each bullet of the J-5s one by one (at least that’s my theory)

OMG that exactly what *I* was thinking!!! I can't explain it. AI doesn't have unlimited ammo, I've seen them run out plenty of times. There really were a ton of MiGs today, so all I can think of is there were more that were firing that pulled off and the other ones pulled in to take their place. Because there's no way they could keep it up for 2 minutes, even in bursts

Hi Dev - it is possible to do asymetric loadouts, but not from within the game. You have to edit the Loadout Ini (in the aircraft folder)

Great point, David, thanks! I'll have to look into it. Doing the math, though, I realized that we probably would finish before the QRCs show up anyway, so that begs a further question of how and IF I try to show later F-105 operations.

Hi Devin. Thanks a lot for this video. I have two questions. Whenever I go to a mission's map, it only shows friendly plane in blue, but not the enemy friends plan. Is there any way that we can add a bingo sound in cockpit? Thanks a lot.

I don't think you can add the bingo sound, you just have to watch your fuel gauge. But for adjusting the map labels, go to your mod folder, open C:\Users\Saved Games\ThirdWire\StrikeFighters2\Flight. Open huddata.ini and change LabelEnemyAir to TRUE.

Hi, James. I use Track IR for camera movement, and use a Logitech Extreme 3D Pro joystick with rudder pedals

@@ruggerorandisi7785 correct. It usually suits my needs just fine, I use it in all my flying games. The stick is getting old now though and the throttle dances more. I may look into something more fancy in the future.
