Counterpoint: Always make Marius the leader if you are against a team with Seek and Destroy, that way he can hang back and prevent Headhunter while you get full use out of your captain.

Now that the precedent is set I really hope GW bothers to release bespoke rules for the Plague Marine Heroes. The operatives are more than varied enough and Death Guard still remains one of the most popular Kill Teams even as a Compendium team. On the Justian team itself, while definitely more pricy than the go to, their operative selection actually allows for building a decent Intercession team together with the 9th edition monopose starter set marines. Those are pretty cheap to get still.

Push fit sold this box for me. I wish more stuff came push fit. Dont get me wrong it's neat to do all the gluing and all, but it gets tedious. Sometimes I just wanna put stuff together and play .

i'm proxying mine from other space marines blood angels heroes blister boxes (2022 and 20232) plus an eliminator, will be wyswyg anyway in terms of weapons, so should be fine

As a new player, I very quickly got the sense that Games Workshop doesn't work like a normal business would and I don't quite yet understand why they make a lot of the decisions they make.

I think we'll get equipment and narrative rules (there's narrative designations on the cards) with the pdf, since out of the box they don't have archetypes

Could you please rank those 5 novitiates from best to worst? Dialogus, Duelist, Reliquarius, Preceptor, Militant sword . I have place for 2 - but somehow I'm not convinced about any of the 5 mentioned to be worthy, so need to know what the ranking would be.

The models for the Space Marine board game were made in the USA. If you look at the sprues, the layout is different from other kits.

Sniper, HI and Captain are on 40mm, rest are 32mm

I will argue with Justian being weakest team when Squats exist. Moreover Justian is much more survivable than Intercession thus they will have it easier in matchups like Kasrkin or Pathfinders who demolished Intercession. If they get same archetypes (or even same tac ops as well) as Intercession they will probably be on the same power level as Intercession, but with other counter-matchups and weaknesses.

Nah Votann ain't that bad This team is only suedo durable. Without Chapter Tactics, Intercession are far more tankier

@@CanYouRollaCrit It depends on the gun. Durable does nothing against Plasma. While 4++ with all the re-rolls you want, 18 wounds and Smoke grenade actually do.

Intercession has other tools and Justian crumbles in melee, the Captain can be easily out-fought in combat

@@CanYouRollaCrit Crumbles in melee is a big word since he has re-rolls for days. Anyway, as I mentioned before, they are somewhat better, somewhat worse. Good team for newcomers, but still harder than Compendium.

Relying only on rerolls goes only so far, the Strike Force's biggest weakness is melee and dedicated melee teams and operatlives will shred them Intercession are still better for new players, this team is a weird bridge between Compendium and Bespoke
