Agree it's a shame he lost it all. He was very talented.

@@suehoult9062 Lost it all?. He's doing his own thing now and very happy. You make it sound like he lost his wife, kids, job, money, house, Daft Cow.

@ScratchyBaws I somehow don’t think he had a wife to lose 😉

@@ScratchyBaws his wife divorced him, he was top billing on tv shows and was involved in a seedy police investigation on a death of one of his guests at a gay party in in house in his pool. He also is bankrupt. He does nothing on uk tv anymore. What exactly is his own thing you say he is doing.

This I believe was one of the final Strike it Lucky episodes to be solely produced by Thames Television directly for ITV, mainly because of Thames's ITV broadcasting licence expiring at the end of 1992 and not being renewed, having lost to Carlton Television in the 1991 franchise battle. The 1993/1994 season of Strike it Lucky was a Central Independent Television/Thames Television co-production for ITV (Remember that Thames continued as an independent production company after their ITV London weekday broadcasting licence expired at the end of 1992 and was not renewed).
