For anyone watching this video in the future and just so happened to stumble upon this comment, there are a few things to note: 1) The 300mm Poly barrel was fixed and now properly increases damage range and bullet velocity 2) This gun does well in Warzone thanks to its damage and handling, but it isn’t a top tier gun like the Grau 5.56 or Bruen 3) Yes, it is still worth using in regular multiplayer That is all.

If you have the X16 or 1911 equipped as a secondary with this gun, you'll have more total starting ammo due to the fact that they both share the .45 ACP ammo type with the Striker 45. This can apply to any guns with same ammo types.

It’s important to know that you can switch the hollow point rounds to single fire, removing the burst delay. I don’t think there is a cap to the fire rate. If you have a good trigger finger it’s pretty awesome imo.

Hijacking top comment (again), but can you one-hit headshot or two-tap to the chest with Stopping Power and HP rounds? With 77 damage dealt for a single headshot I’d imagine SP can give you an “instant” kill to the brains.

Ishraq Azam maybe, I certainly noticed some restrictiction on the Famas and FAL. I’d try to rapid fire and it felt like the FAL would jam and give me a penalty for trying to fire too fast. I don’t notice this with the Striker 45. I don’t use mods, that’s really lame imo. I do have a pretty quick trigger finger though and can certainly notice a restriction with the FAL and Famas. I used to just delete people with the M21+ACOG in COD4, EBR+Suppressor in MW2, and RSASS in MW3.

I think the Striker’s actually really good when kitted out for range with the 400mm barrel, since you outperform most assault rifles in both handling and TTK out to a whopping 30m. That’s perfect for the smaller maps in the pool. I think it’s arguably the best AR on Shoot House and Rust, for example. As a rushing SMG, it’s bad. 194ms is bad TTK for the category, and it requires consistent double headshots to compete with the MP5 and MP7 in those roles. I see a lot of comments online saying that the gun is trash and needs buffs, and I can’t help but think that those commentators are assessing the gun solely by comparing it to the MP5, which fulfills a completely different role IMO. The Striker is a pocket AK/Scar much more than it is a proper SMG. Granted, this is all from the perspective of PC, where gun recoil ranges from nonexistent to mildly annoying. The Striker is a laser on PC and 3-taps at 30m are regularly achievable. I don’t know how Console fares in that regard.

I play in console. Striker was amazing in Hardcore mode, probably the best smg IMO because of its ridiculous one shot range and great mobility/control. It’s decent in Core modes but fire rate holds it back from being top tier. It’s very bad in warzone because it’s a niche hard hitting SMG, it can’t extend out to the range it needs to.

If you don't mind the Hollow Point mags and you want a decent at-range build, try this: 400mm Stainless Steel, Clout Combat Optic, FSS Guardian Stock, .45 Hollow Point 12-R Mags, and Sleight of Hand/Recon. Also if you're using the regular ammo, run an X16 secondary with 26 Round Mags and Fully Loaded to EXPONENTIALLY boost your reserves. Not enough people talk about being able to do that

Great content as always ACE. The only thing I slightly disagree with is if you kit this weapon for speed and just go for CQC engagements, it can absolutely melt people if you are landing shots to the torso and head. Idk that’s just the feel it has when using it up close imo.

I have returned to this gun and its my favourite gun up to about 60meters. To easy to use. I seem to come out top in most engagements and the strafing is handy picking off kar users as long as hitting head/chest

I agree. Although, the tier 100 unlock is a UMP skin and I imagine both guns would behave similarly in a game (same caliber, similar barrel length, and I think they're both some sort of delayed blowback if I recall), so you could probably get away with calling that a UMP. Of course, this would probably confuse people more, but I'm a big H&K fan boy, so that'll be the skin I run once I unlock it...

Hey Ace, keep up the great work with the CoD content, you're among the best out there. Forgive me if I'm mistaken, but I think you might have miscalculated the TTK of the Hollow Point rounds. If the TTK of a 3-Shot Kill was indeed 300ms, that's assuming it takes ((513/60 = 8.55 rounds per second) 2/8.55 = 0.234 = 234ms)) 234 ms to fire only two shots at 513 RPM + the 67ms delay, whereas in CoD the first bullet instantly comes out the gun the moment the player pulls the trigger (I know bullet velocity is a factor now, but that's irrelevant in this example) so the first bullet hitting the enemy from the player firing is ignored in TTK calculation, which I know you understand. I watched your episode on the FR 5.56, and you calculated the TTKs on that episode like I've done here. So, the Striker 45 with Hollow Point rounds fires in 2 round burst at 513 RPM within the burst, we only need to add the time it takes for one bullet to fire and then add the burst delay to find the TTK of a 3 shot kill. 1/8.55 = 0.117, 117 ms + 67 ms = 184 ms. This is a great TTK for an SMG, and at the 5 shots it drops to about 368 ms based on my calculations

thats something that i dont get sometimes the numbers xclusive shows for burst weapons are accurate when it comes to ttk but other times they dont appear to make sense like the ones for the ww2 itra and vanguard itra both weapons work in a similar way, in the ww2 guide the numbers are correct and in the vanguard one the burst fire rate and burst delay dont match with the ttk my boi is presenting he answered my comment saying that you have to add the real burst delay (?) u wot mate? anyways >1 year later sorry lad owo

I use it and am loving it. Once you get the right attachments(Commando Foregrip and the 400mm barrel definitely), it handled SUPER well, and I just love landing headshots with this thing, it shreds. Its TTK w/o headshots isn’t AMAZING compared to top SMGs like MP5 or MP7, but its range helps compensate for that. I also always use extended mags for the extra ammo. Really, I don’t think this is a top 5 gun but I think with attachments and decent aim, it is a pretty good gun.

Ace, I've never seen you discuss first shot delay, or simple time to fire (or land at equivalent range?) first shot from trigger pull. That's similar to first ~5 shot recoil compared to full mag. That seems to be the issue with this gun. So is the stability. It really makes a difference.

You could make this thing super cool in the strafe speed department. I would do a 400mm barrel, hollow point rounds, exo grip, whatever the special stock is, and either a sight, suppressor, or slight of hand. This thing would slap at mid longer ranges.

I use a superfast speed build with hollow point in Hardcore. If you find you often land the first shot in gunfights, using the striker almost guarantees a win at most ranges in multiplayer maps due to the burst. The burst play style allows you to work towards a really quick target swap style because if you miss you first shot and haven't moved on then you are dead anyway. You couple this with tune up and dead silence you can wipe an entire team in 6 clicks. Recommend a renetti or M19 with extended mags to swap to compensate for only having 12 round mags.

The sight swaying makes sense with the base gun because it doesn't have a real stock in the base configuration; it's actually equipped with a pistol stabilizing brace for some reason.

My recommendations for attachments: 400 mm stainless steel barrel, compensater Muzzle, commando foregrip, gi mini reflex, and 45 round mags. Sounds heavy, but it still retains a very respectable ads and mobility. Also its pretty much a laser beam when adsing. Got it gold first day it came out and still shred with it here and there.

Probably my favorite gun *IF* the other team isn't as good or isn't sweating with M4s. All the handling and range characteristics make it great to use, unless everyone else is using strictly metal weapons that just delete you in 50% of your TTK

You want a stealth build? Hallow points, monolithic, 400mm barrel, stippled equivalent and whatever else you want for s&d is disgusting. If you catch them off guard or at distance they'll have basically zero time to react and 90% of the time they are too confused at what happened to do callouts. Very little noise so if you do a flank you have a massive advantage and usually no one reacts to tiny suppressed bursts. I've been playing around with it's hip fire potential as well and it's very good if you mod it for that as well. Sneaky, hipfire lazerbeam and crazy range. It's the full package

it shoots 45 acp so it shares its ammo pool with the x16 and 1911 pistols. the ammo pool is actually 50 rounds , but if you have one of those pisols on, it goes up

I’m surprised more KZbinrs aren’t using this gun, it’s probably as good or better than the MP5 if you can hit your shots. Personally, I use it with the Monolithic Suppressor, Commando Foregrip, 45 round mags (regular is fine, but more means you don’t have to reload after every kill if you aren’t hitting most of your shots), the -ADS speed stock, and sleight of hand or the 1mw laser.

To Ace. I hope you read this report My goal is to add variety to war zone. I would like for you to look into the striker 45 because with a mono suppressor the damage range feels similar a suppressed rifle from a old cod and if you don’t care for ads speed as much (like me) you can add the stock for ads stability and aim walking speed and what ever you want for your your last three slots (I personally use a 1mw lazer and 45 round mags and a for grip) it feels like a hybrid in both multiplayer and war zone at least to me I want to bring the striker to your attention because it might bring a bit of Variety to the meta it seems like it has the best of both worlds the two important attachments aren’t bad comps for running it like a rifle as you know mono because it not only boost damage range but suppress sound and the stock makes it the most stable weapon I’ve seen in cod (I’ve been playing cod online since cod 4) I’ve used a lot of weapon combos. Recoil in full auto can be weird but tap fire at a distance has minimal recoil. Combine that with the stability and at range this seems good. where it does minimal damage it feels like a 5.56 weapon and up close feels like a 7.62 then compared to a AR it has better hip fire, mobility, ads speed and is .45 so you can run a .45 pistol in multiplayer with fully loaded or any pistol with fully loaded in war zone and you know pistol ammo is common. BUT it has a slower fire rate somewhat weird recoil. I did not find other flaws I hope you see this the way I do, and look into this. Thanks for taking your time to read this

The ext mags shouldn't slow ads speed and should only slow movement speed by 1% It's normal mag capacity is small and it reloads slow

honestly, i think the larger the mag is the slower the reload needs to be and not the ADS or movement speed

If you use the burst fire ammo turn your gun on single shot and you can shoot it as fast as youd like should increase TTK couple it with the slight of hand perk and scavenger since you'll need to reload often

If you use hollowpoint ammo you have to select semi auto mode and use it like the FAL in MM2. Absolute beast

I think the 2 round burst with a 3x sight is one of the only actually competitive setups. On rust I find myself 1 bursting everyone I see and it’s quite fun to almost instantly destroy a camper from across the map.

Found an odd combination but if your pair the 400m barrel with the commando grip and the muzzle break then you have barely any recoil. The main recoil of this gun is horizontal so the muzzle break makes it feel more like the MW2 UMP.

hmm. i loved this right out of the box, i only play hardcore and as you say its can double as a assaultrifle, i find its very quick and snappy ads . when i do get on cq combat maps i use the mp5 but im using this as my kill confirmed gun on bigger maps

This gun points out the serious problem with COD stats. I don't have them in front of me, but it is listed as one of, if not the, longest range and highest damage smgs. Anyone who looked at this would think it is designed, with the small mag size, the low fire rate, and the burst fire in conjunction with those stats, to be a defacto long range smg. It's horrible. The recoil stays terrible and the ttk outside of closest range is even worse. You would absolutely never use this versus a ram. IMHO. Argue whoever , but that ttk, which I don't think I should have to hand test, makes the stats totally pointless.

Its great that you sometimes mention the attatchements impact in hardcore. What I would like to see is also one or more class suggestions for hardcore. As the hardcore mode needs different combos of attachements than the core modes. Either add these classes to these videos or make a seperate class setup suggestions video for hardcore. :) Love these types of in depth and honest videos, specially adding +frames etc, those help us to try to combinate attatchments more easily on our own.
