I haven’t seen shinkenger, but I’m assuming it was a plesiosaur, given the shape of it. Honestly plesiosaur to shark sword (don’t forget, it was called the skeleton sword, not just shark) wasn’t too bad, as the head/blade tip had a very spiky, fin like appearance.

Imo Shark works better as a companion to a beetle, tiger and a fish. A dinosour kinda appers from nowher.

The Go-Busters versions of the zords had a lot a problems as well. Notably, GT-02 (Gorilla), had tabs that were prone to breaking.

These Hasbro zords aren’t perfect, but you do get a sense of ambition from them. The BoA zords were cheap copies of their Sentai counterparts with many of the gimmicks removed.

I remember watching the show and being extremely confused and then angry at the gold Zoe’s being called a mantis. What part of it looks like a mantis in the slightest? It was clearly a rhinoceros beetle, and I hadn’t read or watched anything from go busters beforehand either. Story wise, it makes Nate, who’s supposed to be really smart, look like a colossal idiot

Sadly the mechas/Zords are all going downhill design-wise after Go-Busters. The are all based on "1 big robot for body and 4 smaller for limbs" pattern to accomodate collectible gimmick and rarely have an interesting transformation. As a guy who grew up on Transformers and first seasons of Power Rangers it's really sad to see the playability dumbed down. Kids are not that stupid, even retail grade Transformers have pretty complicated transformations and they are still targeted at children.

I can see it both ways. If it was only ever 'Omegazord', we might in the fandom have come to see it as the 'O'. But if they'd still called the episode 'The Omega Project' we might have realised what they were going for.

These are some of my favourite zords, they look cool to me even out of context. The silver and gold work together and the Striker mode feels like a nice self-contained thing. It’s a shame the full ultrazord has wobbly connections, I guess that won’t be the display mode for it in my room. Imagine if it unclipped and knocked everything on the shelf down. Oof.

They appear to be a bit iffy, probably because they're getting used to them. On another note, I remember the latest Transformers line have modes not in the instructions as the instructions for them appear to be unlockable on they're website. So maybe that explains the unadvertised mode. Overall they look nice. Exited to see your videos on the Lightning Collection.

The “Shark Zord” in Power Rangers Samurai is the dumbest PR counterpart name of any Super Sentai Mecha in my opinion. At least Rhino Beetles and Mantises are both bugs.

I like to point out since Wheeler, Jet, Chopper and Racer is much alike to couple other series in R.P.M. their zords are much alike to form arms the two silver rangers zords the Tiger Jet & Jet forms an arm same as rpm gold green and black zords could use the Jet Zord in a way to form two arms on the Racer to act as two pincer swords seen in Kamen Rider Kabuto the Rider named Gatack has those swords the chopper and bear crawled are a little different as one forms arms and other forms the waist the Wheeler & Racer are much the same to In Space Mega V1 and Mega V3 one forms lower legs and the other as the connecter for the legs as the waist for it to connect to although if compared any Ultrazord to this one would get a comparison of each ones height of which one is a bit taller one from Megaforce or Ninja Steel could be a slight taller than the beast-x Ultrazord wouldn’t you agree

It’s an Ultrazord because it’s two Megazords combined. It’s better than just being a big Megazord. Besides, the Lion doesn’t combine with the cheetah in any way.

They gave that up with the Rescue Turbo Megazord and Astro Delta Megazord. It made sense with the Thunderstorm Megazord but give it a different name like RPM did with its different Megazords.
