Yes, I finally got my 1st ever 2-ALL of Strikers 1945 II with the F5U Flying Pancake! =D I didn't think I'd 2-ALL it before the end of this year, but I managed to! =)
Okay, so I guess a little explanation is due here… A week after I defeated Zil's score in Gunbird 2 earlier in the year (This was back at Jun. 26th), I just ended up wanting to give Gunbird 2 a break. As much as getting a NMNB 2-ALL of Gunbird would have been nice, really, I was after defeating Zil's score in that game, so in that regard, I got what I actually wanted to do for Gunbird 2, as I was pleased enough with that, so I decided to give Gunbird 2 a break. Immediately after that, I decided that I'd go play Strikers 1945 II and go for the 2-ALL with the F5U Flying Pancake (I decided to play that game earlier back at July 3rd or 4th of this year). Indeed, nothing like more tap, tap & more button tap, haha!
To tell you, I actually have a bit of a history with playing Strikers 1945 II. Back at early 2013, I actually once owned the PS1 port of Strikers 1945 II (Yes, it's that crappy port you all probably heard about). Back then, I wasn't any good with STGs/Shmups, so I didn't have anywhere near the skills to handle that game at that time, so I sold it. Before you say anything, though, don't worry, I assure you, I did start off playing STGs w/ Touhou. A good friend of mines got me to play Touhou back at December 2010 (This was when I was a college freshman. Also, before then, I always wondered where I'd play the Touhou games).
Anyways... After I played Gunbird 2 extensively, putting this together w/ me getting a DOJWL 2-ALL, I thought about my brief run-in w/ S1945 II several years ago &, well, I wanted to settle that old score I had with that game, as I now have more than enough skills to handle it. I was thinking I'd knock this game down earlier than Dec. 28th, but well, I got held up by a number of things later on in the year, so consequently, it took me a bit longer than I would have expected to get my 1st ever 2-ALL of Strikers 1945 II w/ the F5U Flying Pancake.
Alright, so a little bit about the run itself… To start off, this 1st ever 2-ALL of Strikers 1945 II was actually something I got as my 1st full run of the day! =D I No Miss, No Bomb the 1st loop of S1945II, which is the 1st thing you want to make sure you know how to do, if you’re serious about wanting to 2-ALL S1945II, since you’ll want to enter the 2nd loop with as much resources as you can possibly get. That being said, I made a bit of an execution error in the stage part 1-6, but I managed to recover from it. I messed up a number of medal chains in a number of places in the 1st loop, so that dragged my score down a bit there.
Now, for the 2nd loop… Survival-wise, it went better than what I expected, actually, though the 2nd loop was a bit riddled with a number of execution errors I made, due to nerves. I had to use 1 bomb more than what I planned to use on the stage 2-2 boss. I also messed up the last bit of the stage part of stage 2-3, so I had to use 2 bombs to make up for that mistake. I messed up in the middle of stage 2-5, so I died once there. After that, I recovered, to where I played the rest of stage 2-5 relatively well (I used a bomb on the final form of the stage 2-5 boss earlier than I normally would, due to nerves, though, but it’s not a big deal). I ended up using 1 bomb on the final form of the stage 2-6 boss, due to me killing a certain group of popcorn enemies too early, which made them shoot suicide bullets in a way that caused problems, so I had to bomb once to save myself from dying to the stage 2-6 boss. In the middle of stage 2-7, I messed up a bit by not killing the tank on the left, so that was a bit of a surprise there, but I managed to survive it. I messed up the stage part of 2-8 a bit by not killing the turret enemies correctly using my max level special attack, so I actually had to use a bomb there to prevent getting hit. Lastly, I did a panic bomb on the final form of the stage 2-8 boss’s attack because I thought I was in the wrong placement.
Basically, as I played the 2nd loop in this run, I got more nervous as it went on (Basically, needless to say, before this one, I had a lot of full runs, where I messed up early on in the 2nd loop, which sucked, whenever it happened, and then there’s a handful of full runs, where I No Miss stages 2-1, 2-2, 2-3 & 2-4, only to mess up catastrophically in either stage 2-5, 2-6 or 2-7. There were many full runs I had that failed before I finally got my 1st ever 2-ALL of S1945 II).
Yeah, basically, this was the 1st run of the day I did today. I woke up, and did a full run of Strikers 1945 II right off the bat. To my delight, that 1st run of the day turned out to be my 1st ever 2-ALL of S1945II! =D
P.S. - I want to thank Erppo, BOS, I.O and Y.Saito for posting their runs on KZbin! It helped me a whole lot, in-terms of me getting what to do in S1945II at-large, so it’s very much appreciated! =D

I did a lot of practice playing Strikers 1945 II while I was going for my 1st ever 2-ALL out of that game using F5U Flying Pancake. Specifically, a lot of savestate practicing was done to practice the hard parts over and over again until it gets burned into my memory, and I also studied a number of replays done by other players to figure out what to do in the game at-large, with me quite often straight-up copying a lot of said strats done by other players who have 2-ALL'd the game before me. Both of these things that I did helped me in creating my own route in Strikers 1945 II, nothing TAS about any of that. This S1945II 2-ALL run of mines you see here is a legit full run, default settings, no savestates, no TAS, no cheats whatsoever, no autofire (For the record, I don't believe using autofire is cheating. I simply chose not to use it in Psikyo games). Would I seriously go about 6 months straight of playing just 1 game only to do a lame TAS run at the end of it all that even a trained monkey can put together in just mere minutes, thus wasting all that time and effort on practicing & learning how to play S1945II on my end (not to mention it also wastes your time & everyone else's time as well), when I could have used all that time to play/do something else, if that were the case? C'mon now. Strikers 1945 II features a lot of static patterns that, once you analyze & understand the nature of said patterns (A whole lot of those said patterns will always act & behave the same way each run, allowing you to figure out what to do in short time (i.e. tap-dodge, safespot, moving in certain ways to manipulate a pattern that is always aimed at you, etc.)), it becomes easy to come up with a strategy to handle said parts & figure out what to do accordingly, simply because there’s not really much variation & little-to-no RNG to get in the way (To name one for starters, it's not difficult to understand how to No Miss, No Bomb the 1st loop of S1945II when you take the time to actually practice & study the game). It’s really not that hard to do, nothing TAS about any of that. These are all humanly possible things to do. You can also do it too, if you know how to practice & analyze the games right rather than just move around without a plan, try to dodge everything on reaction and hope for the best, when really, if you took the time to understand how the patterns act & behave, you'll very often find that you actually don't have to do that. Along with that, I should also note that I also had a lot of accumulated experience from years of playing all kinds of tough STG/Shmup games, which, if you go check out my channel, you’ll see that for yourself. That said accumulated experience over the years built up my overall skill level in the STG/Shmup genre, as well as molding the way I practice & study these kinds of games, so you can say it had a snowballing effect on my skills as an STG/Shmup Player. It takes time to develop the skills to handle tough games, as it's a gradual process that doesn't happen overnight. It has to build up along the way. The phrase "Rome wasn't built in a day" comes to mind here.
