I like the SS version. I have a bronze watch but wouldn't buy another. I will be curious as to how this alloy ages. That may take a year so I'll have to be patient.

So if a watch is made to look like it is allowed to age (such as bronze patina), then it should fully commit to the idea, such as having an acrylic crystal and lume and dial that corrupt, and aluminum bezels. But consumers are fighting this by wanting white lume plots and sapphire crystal. These Hermétique models look to me like they too are sitting on the fence of indecision between looking old and looking new.

look at the 1 marker at 12... it is taller than the 2. huge qc issue imo. on other baltic divers the 1 and 2 at 12 always had the same hight... how did they not notice that??? i think this qc issue is already present in the steel hermetique too

I like this: it falls into the high-contrast tooly vibe I'm into. I'm not sure I've seen a bronze watch in person, but stainless steel does strike me as the obvious best choice.

This watch is a blend of bronze and other metals, so it looks brighter than pure bronze and doesn’t patina as much

I just purchased a Veto Smokey the bear 80th Anniversary bronze with a green dial. It looks more copper than bronze. The Baltic is a much better watch for the same price. I am going to keep mine shiny and avoid the patina. The coloration is crazy.

The bronze alloy they use looks like brass and I don't like the colour. Everything else is just fine except the fume dial.

It's hard to judge a strap without seeing it and wearing it. It's only the fume treatment of the dial I dislike. I like the dial design and actual colours. I also dislike your attitude.
