It's nice that even after decommissioning the Reservoirs they kept the lower one as a wildlife habitat. I'm glad you never saw a bull. I love Michael's knowledge of the area too. Thanks for sharing Shanita. Wishing you and Michael a wonderful Christmas.

Hello Chris. Hope Keeping well. It's interesting how local small areas 🌳can be just as appealing as longer walkers. Yes. Never saw that bull!! 🙄🐂All the very best to you Chris over Christmas and New Year. 🌲

This was only small but as a nature reserve had a lot to offer. Many thanks for watching. All best for Christmas🌲

I must admit I've not heard of these places before, but it was good to see on your map where Strinesdale is. Seemed like a pleasant walk again and nice to see the lower reservoir. Wow those tables certainly looked like they've been well scorched, especially that one with the holes. Enjoyed "Sweet Memories" with its nice gentle rhythm. Great stuff Shanita, all the best 👍

Hello Patrick. Strinesdale is very local to Grains Bar Oldham, Lancs. Suprsing how little known this tranquil hidden gem of a nature reserve is. Michael seems to root out such places having grown up in Saddleworth. So unexpected too. Glad you liked my uptempo 'Sweet Memories'. Have a lovely Christmas and New Year Patrick.🥳🌲🌲

A place I hadn't heard of before. We have visited Alexandra Park and Tandle Hill Country Park (with great views to Manchester), in that area. Have a great Christmas and New Year.

Alexandra Park and Tandle Hill Country Park are popular areas, but Strinesdale isn't so well known. I found this quite a tranquil hidden gem and the lower reservoir very scenic. I do enjoy exploring somewhere I've not been to before which Michael is good at rooting out. I am putting a map up on my face book page as well as above OS link. Have a lovely Christmas to you both and New Year Steven and Jeanie. 🥳🌲🌲

Hi Allie. Strinesdale Reservoir is easy to find once you get to the Roebuck Inn. Quite a nice nature reserve with easy tracks to follow. All the best to you and family for Christmas and New Year.☺👍🌲
