Summer 1999? Hate to say it, but EDM was alive and well by summer '99...Certainly not as mainstream in the states, but in Europe it was. I think you may be referring to the EDM invasion into the Jam scene, which really began to emerge in 99-2000. The biscuits, love em or hate em, were starting to really implement the edm element into their jams. Other bands were doing the same; some of which were edm-centric whereas others, like cheese, supplemented jams with edm (more and more over time). I too prefer stringier cheese, despite being a biscuit fan first and foremost

So I found the show and I definitely agree with y’all’s comments. I was always a big string cheese fan, but was in a different bands. I do remember them getting a little too electric for my taking. But they’re older and wiser, so are we so I found myself online at work right now looking up shows to try to catch them. 2022 bring it!!😎✌️
