This mansion was owned by a wealthy man who's wife passed away. according to neighbors, strange things would go on at night here and many black vans would show up at odd hours

Port Barrington is a "fake Barrington" - they renamed the village from Fox RIver Valley Gardens to Port Barrington about 20y ago. It's not on the same level as South Barrington or Barrington Hills when it comes to house prices etc

To bad you cant get into the Wynstone estates off of Rand road. Many of those mansions are empty but you need a pass to get through the gate. A friend of mine has a home there he owns the century tile chain. Jack Niclaus has a home there as well he designed the golf course. Good stuff dude keep it up.

Wynstone was built on the estate of W. Clement Stone. I worked there, in his old house, before it was demolished in the 80s. Homes sold for as much as $3M and Michael Jordan once owned a home in there. I assume Wynstone is probably still mostly occupied.
