Here I tested two strings, the Solinco Confidential and the Technifibre Ice Code. They both felt pretty good.. I would say I liked the Confidential a lot better initially. It had good bite, feel and pop, great balance. Best of all, it (possibly) cured my wrist injury!?
The Ice code felt pretty bland at first and didn’t care too much for it... but there are some good qualities that stood out through some duration of time.
It’s softness and tension maintenance is probably the two biggest strong points.
My wrist pain didn’t come back from playing with either of these strings. I will have to confirm whether it was the (4g) strings that contributed to my wrist hurting (or not by returning to the 4g).
Grips: I liked the wonder grip better than the heaven grip. It’s tackier, and I like tacky. The heaven grip wasn’t quite as tacky but not too dry either. It has perforated design instead of a flat finish. The wonder grip feels a bit softer cushiony/thicker also. So your personal preference!
Below are the links to the products if you want to give them a try!
