I’m not even over weight, but I do have stretch marks from giving birth to my daughter and breastfeeding for 2.5 years. I have been married for over 10 years, since I was 18, and I waited until I was 26 to get pregnant because I was so afraid of the changes my body would inevitably go through. It took me awhile to accept my mama marks, but it kinda cuts me back down when I hear “men don’t want to see stretch marks”. You guys are not responsible for my feelings and I know I choose to watch. I just wish we could all understand that the things we say could really trigger some people negatively. I really like you Nina, you’re a real ass person and I fuck with that. I admire and respect your hustle, really. I understand that’s just the reality of your line of work, I just want to see all women celebrated. Whether you’re a stripper, a baby mama, or a wife or all of the above. We’re all women and we all have to live up to the impossible standards of men whether that concerns our physical appearance or how they believe we must “behave”. I love that something was said because after she was talking all that shit about other women that aren’t strippers and have bangin bodies, it left a bad taste in my mouth about her. Look I worked in that world for awhile, I know how it is. HOWEVER I respected and celebrated all women no matter what. The way she was talkin is the reason why so many women have imagine issues and are self conscious. It’s why so many of us do not feel good enough. Obviously they’re natural and they know that. But you can control stretch marks. There are creams and ointments and oils that work amazing. I’m a mom and a stripper and I’ve used cocoa butter and oils since I first got pregnant and after I had my son my stretch marks got horrible even though I didn’t have one single stretch Mark my whole pregnancy. But even though they appeared after and where super red and prominent, the oils and creams helped tremendously and I also tanned to reduce the redness. They turned white. You can control what happens after they appear. When you work in this industry you have to be and look your absolute best. They aren’t hating on anyone but they are explaining how it is in this industry

I get you have to look the part and take care of yourself! It makes sense to me because I’ve worked in this industry for a few years.. for everyone who is commenting and coming for the house mom for talking about stretch marks, she’s not saying you can’t have them. Obviously it’s natural. And obviously she knows that. you can get ointments and creams and tan to reduce the amount of redness. You HAVE to take care of yourself in this industry. It’s not just about body positivity. I feel people use the excuse of body positivity to be lazy. That’s just an excuse to not workout and take care of yourself. Obviously stretch marks happen and are natural and the house mom knows that, but it’s about taking care of them and treating them. You can’t just let them go when you work in a night club. You have to look your absolute best! Just like a personal trainer! They can’t be lookin out of shape and eating bad! That’s our “uniform” , our bodies.
