Strip Mine Rd. Crossing before Upgrade in Wilmington, IL 3/21/17

After hearing that this crossing was going to close very soon for overhaul, I decided to come out to get one last video of the old signals before they're gone. This is one of my favorite crossings in the area and it's a bit sad to see them go. As I said in the video, this was the day before I returned to Ohio, and so the next time I see this crossing, it will have quad gated signals and the intersection with Route 53 will be completely redone.
The train took a while to get there, so between my intro video and the train video, the sun came out and lit up the crossing for a pretty nice shot.
