TheUnknownBrick castaic still slow but lately we went to diamond valley lake. You don’t catch much but quality size from 5lbs to more than 10lbs. I might be there this Saturday.

I used both fish finder and a well known location. I’ll fish the area one hour or so and still see no fish in fish finder then I move.

It’s funny how these guys fish they are there to catch and it doesn’t matter how they would chum and chum to catch as many fish. They don’t even have respect for anything not even themselves. That’s so sad.

Was it easy to launch your boat there? Did you have to go through any inspections?

Trung Pham. On your first trip, your boat must be completely DRY with no drop of water. Afterward, get the boat TAG before go home so next trip will be no inspection, even a lot of water in the boat. Thank 🙏

Hello, Actually, you are talking about the regulations on striped bass in saltwater. In freshwater, there is no size limit and each person can possess up to ten striped bass.

@@FishermansHobby I wanna apologize, I called the lake and it is a "10 fish limit"...that's absolutely crazy but if the lake allows it then that's on them. Couldn't see myself killing 10 striper in a trip but I'll keep doing what I do best and that's bending rods.!!

Tony Wu later striper getting smart and sensitive when ever they bite and feel any line tension they let go of the bait so we have to use softer rod, small hook, and smaller line. This meant the hook will Not break through bone or scales when you swing on fish bite. I hope you understand my explanation. If don’t, I’ll try again thanks.

Tony Wu if you fish on boat. Make sure you two anchors for front and back so the boat don’t swing around or Ipilot. Gear: I use stradic 1000 or 2000 on 6 to 8 lbs line. Rod: I use Phenix Recon 4-10 lb. Location: Necktie, Elisabeth canyon, or left side bouy by the inlet Dam. Deep: 40 to 80 ft. This time of season they bite more fly line. Come say if you see on the lake. 2400 bay ranger boat.

Eric Arzoumanians sorry for late reply. Its all depends, you should try one rod as a fly line and one have it sit on the bottom. This time of the season they bite more on fly line.

A Park if you talking about catfish, yes you can but more difficult at Castaic’s walking point. I found catfish more toward Elizabeth canyon area or rocky bottom. Thank you for watching and Subscribed.🙏
