Congrats on 3k! When using the jerkbait, pop-pop-pause. Don't reel as your popping it. Pause for 2-4 secs. Repeat. It's a slower presentation bait. Bass and stripers hit on the pause.

If you close the gills the fish will paralyze and won't move. Helps when using trebel hooks.
