On an 8 wt spawning run Potomac River Washington, DC, several. Kinda tough to go back to trout, but when the stripers and shad leave we do.

Today on the Arkansas River in Tulsa. The best fishing day EVER. Lost count, at one point, 6 casts and 6 hookups. These were whites, striped and wipers. All in the 2,3lb range, no monsters. I started with a barrys carp bitter, wanting Black Buffalo. The white bass were tenacious! So, realizing all the surface activity, even though it was quick water, I put on a 3" streamer and it was on. This is such a great Fishery. If you're in the area and your fly rods in the car, check it out. It's near downtown Tulsa right by the 31st Street Bridge on Riverside drive.
