Bought a 2019 700 this year. Went to change the oil at 5 hours and hopefully I didn’t strip it out. What a poor design from a Japenese manufacture. Hard to believe new owners have to deal with this sort of thing. I watched your bolt reducer video. Seems like a good resolution. Thanks for confirming this issue with us.

Thinking about buying a 700r for a good deal but it has a oil leak and the guy says he’s already drilled it out and put new threads and it still leaks. Kinda makes me nervous if he drilled it out too big I️ won’t be able to use the reducers u sell

I tripped out the oil pan bolt and i took it to a atv shop to have them work on it and when a got it back and i went to do a oil change and i see some kind of tape on the bolt and the washer and i got a new washer and it still leaks do you think i need to put tape back on the bolt and the tape is gray and i think like for like air tools so what do you think ?? And do you think you need washers on both the oil bolt and the oil tank bolt to

Ryan Wofford most likely the new threads are nut cut square to the case so the washer is not seating flat. Check to see if it is sitting the same on all sides. If not the case can be flat filed and the angle changed to match

Looks way too tight to me. Check your torque wrench against a known good one.

Mine is more than stripped it’s also crack on the side so the crack gets bigger if I try and tighten it
