In this video I fix my Strip Tec model 1000 wire stripper. The issue was 100% my fault for mounting it on its side. Then I test to see if it will strip 3 wires at once. Thanks for watching

You tell such great stories with your vids AND your videos are of incredible production quality for a one man production. I can only imagine how much work goes into these I've got long videos. When I was watching your other video mate the one where you were trying to make the donut machine well I had a thought why dont you collect old reels from the wire and use that donut motor to spin them and collect the wire on to it that way you can put the roll on to a pole at one side then run the wire through the stripper and on to another reel and I dont think you would need the stripper motor as the reel should be able to pull the wire through the stripper.👍👍✌👊👊

I just seen a post from a guy that was trying to sell what he said was motors, it actually was a wide variety of hydraulic pumps and valves and motors, said if he can't sell he's taking to scrap yard

The hydraulic pumps and valves don't have copper and are basically heavy steel.

If you cutting the copper, back the blade up, it is not going to peel it like the copper king on that delicate wire since it isn't cutting both sides.

It is suppose to cut both sides in one pass. One set of rollers actually turns faster.

@@ProjectShopFl I still do my stripping with a stanley blade as thats how me and my partner did it and that was over 20 years and I reckon we would still be doing it now but she past away on the 22/6/2019 and she just turned 43 on the 20/5/2019 and it helps me remember all the crazy things we got up to just to find enough wire for us to strip over the week as that payed for us and some friends to have a party every Friday and Saturday night sorry it started on the Friday and kept going till Sunday morning plus that helped us to get most of the things our five kids wanted.P's I would be checking the prices in other countries just now as I live in Scotland and our copper prices have just jumped up a good bit and they are meant to be going up again its meant to be china thats wanting the copper as they need it to keep making Electrical equitment and they need our old stuff as they are running out in thier copper mines and they cant find anymore just now.All the best from Dundee Scotland.👍👍✌👊👊

What makes more money, granulator or stripped copper wire?

Striped wire is worth more per lb. I got the granulator so I can process the thin wire without having to unwind it. I will be running al 3 machines at once here soon.
