I’m a practicing physiatrist in the Philippines and I’m currently reviewing for diplomate oral exams. I’ve been reading our book about stroke syndromes for half a day now and somehow I can’t remember anything after I finished the chapter. Just an hour of your lecture and I understood stroke syndromes. Thank you guys for simplifying difficult lectures. Keep it up, Zach & Ninja Nerds staff! 😊

quickest hour of my life well-spent. I am currently in grad school to become a speech-language pathologist, and you did an awesome job of describing the function of Broca's and Wernicke's area and the aphasias that can result due to brain damage. Thank you for that! You will single-handedly be the reason I pass neuroanatomy.

This is absolutely the best comprehensive presentation for the A+P re the pathophysiology of CVA types I have ever seen. Had an RNC in inpatient obstetrics, retired now, and a senior w/some of such aberrations re MRI findings. WOW!
@ryangraham12342 жыл бұрын
Absolutely amazing, I finally get it after several failed attempts...way of breaking things down and visuals are genius level, thank you.
@Tanvisatte3 жыл бұрын
I guess there is some issue with video clip part explaining pca syndrome as it just explained about homolateral homonymous hemianopia and straight jumped to midbrain syndromes somehow the thalamus position was just not explained at all
@vidam.22932 жыл бұрын
Great lecture as always.. Missed discussion on the thalamus though but the rest was great. Even with my incredibly short attention span, I was able to listen to the whole thing without spacing out, which is saying something. :) Thank you!

This is a masterpiece I must say.. The simplest and the most concise way ever to describe stroke syndromes. A huge fan of yours❤️ Love from Pakistan. Keep inspiring us with more content👍

Dr Murphy; an excellent presentation. One question: on your discussion of mca I did not get your mention of lenticulostriate artery and the internal capsule. Cortical branches would cause monoplegia and the striate would cause hemiplegia.
