Still beautiful. I grew up in Forest Hills - lived there from 1940 to 1964. Went to Public School 101, "The School in the Gardens." I was so fortunate.

The population of Moscow and the Moscow region is about 25 million people. That's 17 million in Moscow agglomeration (13 million in the city of Moscow) and 8 million in the Moscow region. Look, so, Real Russia/Provincial Russia, the Moscow suburbs, there's this *New Moscow Administrative District* (founded in 2012 with an area of 1,480 square kilometers). It's in the Moscow region, which is in Central Russia, and it has a population of 573 thousand people. Most of them are Ethnic Russians (87.56%), then there are some Ukrainians (2.09%), Armenians (1.33%), Tatars (0.83%), Belarusians (0.53%), and others less than 0.5% each. The average temperature there is +6.9 degrees Celsius (2012 - 2022) and the climate is Dfb with 678 millimeters of rain per year. It's got an eco-region of Sarmatic Mixed Forests. It's only 4.5 kilometers away from the Moscow Ring Road, and the unemployment rate is 5.8% and the crime index is 36.69%. There's also a gender split of men being 44.3% and women being 55.7%. And the average monthly salary in Moscow is $1,610 (or $1,400 after taxes). But the average salary in the Moscow region is $920 (or $800 after taxes) and the average life expectancy there is 74.6 years. The New Moscow AD has got 42 new residential complexes with 31 schools and 68 daycare centers. There are three types of residential complexes in New Moscow: economic-class (30%), comfortable-class (60%), and business-class (10%). The official promotional video from A101, a construction company, features the Moscow suburbs: *New Moscow Administrative District,* the Residential Complexes *"Spanish Quarters"* and *"Scandinavia".* The video shows Map of New Moscow, Sarmatic forests, Metro, Highways, Apartments and Streets, etc. *dCbWP56fpcw* *Preview:* During the Spanish Civil War, thousands of kids were sent out of the Republican area to the Soviet Union from 1937 to 1938. They were trying to get them away from the chaos and hardships of war. Some of them came back to Spain between 1956 and 1959. Others went to Cuba in the 60s. But a lot of the Spanish-origin people are still in Russia today. Moscow suburbs: the New Moscow Administrative District and the Sosensky urban settlement. There's a residential complex called "Spanish Quarters", and today's the Spanish Day there. On Seville Boulevard, they're having a dance called "A Small Spanish Corner with a Russian Heart" *SvAIixpWDMg* *Moscow Suburbs:* In the *New Moscow Administrative District,* there's this place called the *Sosensky Urban Settlement.* It has a residential complex called "Spanish Quarters", which is a comfort-class development. It's about 4.7 km away from the Moscow Ring Road and has a population of around 23K (divided into two areas: First and Second). quadrocopter a short video (

This looks like the suburbs in Melbourne VICTORIA Australia where it’s very green & the streets are full of trees beautiful older homes very expensive area, like anywhere in the world where there is money ,there are beautiful homes lovely streets with beautiful trees 🌴 the world is the same everywhere unless you go to underdeveloped countries . So money education & ambition can be created everywhere in countries that allow you to have opportunities ,if you try hard work hard or just have old money passed down there is beauty where there is $$$$$$ signs . It’s not only AMERICA .

Take the " E " train get out either Continental Ave station and walk around or Forrest Hill station and walk around. On a beautiful clear day with a breeze you will think you are on vacation / holiday. Best time after rush hour 8am to 9am . Plenty of places for good food for lunch a little pricey, but, you'll enjoy it. P.S. Forgot to mention leave before rush hour after 4pm.

@@laurastone6578 It's hard to find recent crime statistics for Forest Hills, but I found this, updated in Jan. 2024 from the propertynest website: "The Forest Hills neighborhood has several public safety measures in place to ensure that all residents are safe and secure. The local police department regularly patrols the area on foot and by car and works closely with local organizations to keep individuals informed about any potential dangers or disturbances that may arise. Additionally, there are 24-hour surveillance cameras in operation throughout the streets of Forest Hills. Many consider Forest Hills one of the safest neighborhoods in New York City due to its low crime rates. Property crimes are also relatively uncommon due to proactive policing strategies and regular patrols by uniformed officers throughout the day and night. Crime statistics Crime rate: 1 out of 10 Approximately 6.6600 crimes (felony) per 1000 residents" So it seems that it's still relatively safe.
