His music, his way of being, the quality of his lyrics are all that goes with it, making this singer an exceptional artist!!! he does not only offer music, it is also art... the language is in no way a barrier on the contrary that he sings with his mother tongue it makes the music even more his performance is beautiful ... they make me want to learn French... it's a wonderful language

His new album 'Multitude' is named like this because of all world influences put into the music. His goal, he said, was that the listener could not pinpoint the song to one country or style, but rather as a mixture, a multitude of sounds. His earlier album 'Racine Carrèe' (Square Root in english) is more upbeat, heavy lyrics but with catchy tunes and beats. If there is one that will be good to listen to, a more dark song from that album is 'Quand C'est'. You must try it. Have fun, greetings from Belgium.

It was great to see you be surprised and confused by the first seconds of the first one ... and then immediately love him for it! 💛 His last album ("Multitude") is really brilliant, but so are many of the songs from the album "Racine carrée" as well. Looks like Stromae has achieved this goal to create a feel good song that is talking about all the shadow workers who are making this world go round... and people who are giving them a hard time. There's an earlier song that isn't as uplifting but quite good too, and the video is a live recording : "Te quiero (ceci n'est pas un clip", you'll see there why he's often compared to Jacques Brel : kzbin.info/www/bejne/ppezgZZjrK2WoJY Sounds a bit like "Alors on danse" but way more intense.
