Jordan is so genuinely sweet in person! He obviously has a great sense of humor and he even has kind of dorky moments. It really just makes me adore him that much more. He was always my favourite too. Remember he had that thin long braid at the back of his head? (There used to be a slang term for that hair style/ braid however, in today’s society, I don’t dare mention what it was called back in the 80’s). Anyway, I’m just wondering if anyone else heard this rumour: I remember hearing that when Jordan cut off his braid, that it was auctioned off and some rich guy paid a huge amount of $ to buy for his daughter. Is there any truth to that?

God I was so over-the-top in love with this guy for so many years. I was even attracted to my husband at first because he resembled Jordan so closely. I first saw J when I was 9 and it was truly love at first sight. Lots of tears were shed over this guy..he and the rest of NKOTB made my childhood a lot more bearable. I'll always love Jordan and the rest of them for that! Great interview..the best he's done.

I love his fun, funny, easy going personality in this interview, and how he actually opened up about his past. It reminds me more of how jordan used to be back in the 80's. Since New Kids came back he has been a little more private about his life.

Melissa Ray I think it's because he's stopped drinking around 2009 or 2010. Also the fans treated Evelyn like crap and actually caused a ton of issues between them. I personally think Jordan has a lot he hides about his past because it's hard. I've read him Jon and Chris we're inseparable as kids so seeing the racism was a major thing. You can tell when he was talking about it that he was actually back at that time. His face changed, his eyes got big, and he seemed to be not in the present. You could tell he was fighting himself there and about his drinking. I think there's a lot going on with him. I notice Jon is hovering a lot more around him than in the past.

I think it deeply bothered him to know he and his family, btother were being treated that ws just bc of the color of his skin. There was shock, confusion and a real sadness on his face at that part of the interview. As far as his sexuality goes, that's his business but I find "we still have a little something going on" maybe him telling he's bi. You can be and still devotedly married. lol Maybeee that's just wishful thinking. Idek. 😅😏🔥👋🏽

@@TriciaS1986 Yeah, the interviewer asked some really interesting questions. The topic of racism is extremely difficult and he doesn't even experience it day-to-day so imagine how traumatic it must be to actually be on the direct receiving end!

It's a complete violation of another human being so he's one of the few white people who truly feels it in such a raw manner which is probably why it's harder for him to talk about than someone who didn't experience that. Yes, I also believe like any other person he's probably got a lot of things that he's carried that of course we know nothing about and he does say that he tends to go into a shell as a protective mechanism which makes sense.

@3:38-4:30 This is one of the reasons why New Kids on the Block was so successful and the best boy band of all time and I'm not just saying that because I'm a fan, they really were and are talented. I grew up during their era and during that time, they were completely raw and uncut and *not* manufactured. Everyone loved and respected them. They were the only completely raw and uncut group to have *so much* success. After the Hangin' Tough album came out, all the other groups during that time were somewhat manufactured and they _tried not to be_. New Kids on the Block never had a need to be "manufactured." They wouldn't have let it be either. Entertainment has never been the same after them. They have gifts by God and those gifts are given without repentance but they need to learn to harness it for God!!

Lately, I have been reminiscing and looking back at everything that has sentimental value to me and well NKOTB and Jordan in particular are a part of that. Anyway, as I was watching this interview I couldn't help but wonder if Jordan ever thought of modeling and going into acting. I think he would be great in a comedic role.
