Stromboli, continua ad essere alimentata la colata: la lava raggiunge il mare

Continua ad essere alimentata la colata di lava che scende lungo la Sciara del Fuoco. La lava arriva fino al mare, come mostrano le ultime immagini dal drone girate nel pomeriggio di lunedì 5 dicembre, all'indomani delle esplosioni che hanno causato un'onda anomala registrata dalle boe piazzate nei pressi dell'isola vulcanica.
"Il rotolamento produce l'emissione di cenere che si disperde rapidamente" afferma l'Ingv nell'ultimo comunicato. Il tremore attualmente si attesta su livelli medi.

It used to be a daily thing in the past. In Italian it's called "sciara del fuoco" I was there just this summer. Boats in the night will go to see this spectacular show. With the dark you'll see the red lava streaming down. Nowadays it's rare to see it reaching the sea. 3 yrs ago one tourist died during a violent explosion, they went to close with the boat. Now there are markers in the sea and since then you can only climb half of the way, where before, the trail would take you above the mouth of the Vulcano so you'd actually see the eruptions almost below you.
