I usually use a 1mm nozzle for printing in vase mode for items I want to be durable.. laying a 1.5mm wide line makes for some sturdy, fast prints.

What is your favorite line width for technical prints?
@captainheat231420 күн бұрын
i use 0.65mm on a 0.6mm nozzle because not all nozzles are perfectly 0.6mm
@verdana3d20 күн бұрын
@captainheat2314 In spiral vase mode you can go up to 2.4 mm line width, hopefully without quality issues

for printing .5 module gears I like using a .3 line width from a .4 nozzle.. Makes the teeth almost the perfect resolution for a smooth noiseless geartrain in R/C car applications..
@verdana3d19 күн бұрын
@@chadsulski9020 I was also using 0.3-0.35 mm for gears, but sometimes it's quite difficult to get a nice bed adhesion, with such a small and narrow line)
