I JUST LOVE YOU GUYS and will support you all the way.

I had not thought of HANSON since... If Only came out. Just recently a friend poked me with I Will Come to You while we were reminiscing and I started looking back to the songs, and I stumbled today upon this documentary. I have to say that I am SO proud of them, and wouldn't hesitate to see them live again, should they make a return to Monterrey, Mexico. Thank you for doing this and showing the world where real talent and dedication will get you. Thank you for not giving up.

It would be so nice if maybe someday, since they demoed 80 songs for the album, they could put out a box set of those 80 demo songs. That be worth the money to buy and listen to, given how they worked really hard on those songs. Plus, I hope that Underneath will eventually get certified Gold or Platinum because it truly deserves those!

Thank goodness they had the guts to do it. Just hard to believe how corrupt radio and the corporate music business is, but, we are seeing the results and it's sickening. If it was older times, without the stranglehold that these corrupt big music corporations have on everything, these guys would be the biggest band out there, no question. I'm just glad that they were making music throughout those years that they were being squashed, because it's still there, they've got "it" and always will.

Oh I completely agree. My sister's been a fan since '97, but she's seven years older than me. Then when I was around eleven or so, I heard "If Only," and even though I'd never given Hanson a second thought before, I fell in love with that song. I sort of forgot about them, though. Then I heard "Underneath" off Underneath. And they've had me ever since. These guys are brilliant musicians. I saw them for the first time in April, and their concert was the best I've ever been to!

Wow! This documentary is very cool. I had no idea how laborious it was to record and release an album. And I knew even less about the pressure that record labels make on artists.

it's a shame these big record labels seem so afraid of REAL music. don't you think a good record label would be one that started a new trend especially if that trend is real, great music. it truly pisses me off that people seem so scared of hanson simply because their music isn't like anyone elses. to me, that's what real music is. i just hope jeff finster is kicking himself in the balls right now : ) to hanson: i'm SO proud of you guys! you are a phenomenal band and only get better!

Well, here's the thing. The music industry is a business. Everyone in the business wants things to be a sure thing. Otherwise they lose money. The problem is now because of that, you get stuck in situations like this. It's basically payola all over again. Money talks. If you're a radio station, which artist are you going to play? The one whose label will give you $100,000 to play their music or a band who is independent? It's a huge risk. Nobody wants to take that risk. Radio stations are trying to keep their repour going with the major labels.

Actually I haven't even heard anything about you before. But now after watching all 13 videos of this documentary I became some kind of fan... ^^ This documentary is really great! I haven't known that these huge major-labels were actually that brutal. It really gave me insights into music business! And if I had just been listening to your music I probably would have thought you're yet another pop-rock boyband. But by watching this docu I realized that you're three remarkable musicians! :)

The sad thing is that the music industry is slowly killing extremely talented musicians who are stiving to evolve their music in almost every genre. For example take Thrice (who removed themselves from Island) and Thursday (Island Records as well). Both these bands are extremely fan-based with a huge cult following in the indie scene, and very talented but because they weren't producing sell-out radio rock, Island wanted to drop them.

Not that everyone isn't entitled to their fair share of frustration, but now having watched the documentary, it's pretty humbling to think back on some of the whining we did as fans over the lack of new material from the band during this period. Yes, those of us who investigated the issue read/heard snippets of information regarding the creative clash with the label post-merger, but even then I doubt we fully grasped the magnitude of it. Good Lord, if only we'd known...

There we have it , another prime example of Non creative, unenlightened, studio execs, so savvy with the proper protocols of the music industry, yet at the same time so disconnected from anything remotely creative .The same story that so many artists went through from Queen to Kiss to so many more.. When will these bonehead , unenlightened record exec nerds get out the way , and trust the genius of the creative artists? ! You go Hanson ...you are winners of the highest degree. You believed in the face of the ignorant, and showed them who is really in charge .

@hoosiergirl008 I soooo agree with you. I became Hanson- Fan in the age of 11. Now I'm 24 years old...And I just came back to them a few weeks ago. Honestly....Suddenly, I coulnd't stand all this 'machine-pop-sound' anymore and I've remembered the bands, which impressed me with they're talent of making music and writting their own songs.... And here I am again....Back on the music of one of my first musically love....Hanson. I'm so proud of them I can't tell ya how much
