There is some great potential here. I think about seeds and weeds. What that man said to here was a weed, and she didn't take her weapon and slice it immediately and it took root. I wonder what would have happened if she said, that message of women not usurping authority over the man is talking about a husband and wife relationship and me teaching in a church is not usurping authority over my husband. If she could have schooled that ignorant dude immediately, I believe she would have been that oiled shield. And, I love the revelation at the end, that the rhema word spoken into her spirit, unlocked the source of the root and uprooted that old nasty lie forever. She has some good wisdom and I like how candid and vulnerable she made herself in talking about her childhood. Funny, genuine, relevant.
