give up 結局のところサーキットのラップタイム削る為に作られたエンジンとアメリカンテイストのエンジンの違いだろ。車体も空力面での違いでZ32が伸びるだけ。ボンネビルで400オーバー出したからって速いわけじゃない。オールフラットのストーレートを何キロも踏み切る場所なんかボンネビル以外ないし、サーキットなら路面のギャップ拾って伸びない。
It maybe old but a time stamp in history. These people always strived to push beyond the limits. I recall one of the Option magazine writers pushed a CR-X beyond 300km and disintegrated on the racetrack.

Autobahn, that's the key. No speedlimits for as long as you can hold it, and the only problem that came up is that someone just had to take the fastlane even though there was no need to. Not saying they're not allowed to, but it was unnecessary and almost killed Daijiro. Also, I don't think that Video Option really cared back then, they just knew what people love and made content out of it.

@@hynynenmi Oh right I see the German registration plates now, I thought they were still in Japan. Though I think if they did a professional extremely high speed test like this on the Autobah today, I think the German police would have a lot more to say about it than 20+ years ago.

These days a lot of 4cyl done much than the Rb. Also the 2j overtook it because of such a big aftermarket. Hope to see better results from this great engine again.
Yoshiki. K 2jは登場から何十年も研究され尽くした上で最早別物になった改造で3000馬力クラスが最高。対してようやく改造が ようやく進んできたVR38も同じ3000馬力クラス。2jも凄いけど流石にVR38越えはきついと思うけどなぁ。

dag dig RB26は確かに本体の値段とか工賃とか色々高いよね。そこに関しちゃ2Jも同じようなもんだけどさ。あの手で安くて頑丈なのって言うと4G63がかなり良い気がする。それこそ前に載ってたoptionのチューンドベース特集の中でGフォースのプランでエンジンとオーバーホールが工賃含めて80万くらいで提供されてて他と比べると格安だった記憶(うろ覚えですまぬ)。プレミア付きすぎな第二世代Rと80スープラと比べてもエボはまだ手が届きそうな範囲だし(十分高いけどw) 。速さはもう周知の通り。まあそれでもRが好きだからやっぱりRB26(断言)。
