Tiger II ain't that bad. You gotta play it long-range. It's pretty much a beefy TD. If you have to frontline, you gotta play as a wiggly boi. (I typed that out, having forgotten it's just a bad tier 10 on PC. Yeah, that thing is a shitcan.) Edit: P.S. VK 100.01P epic platoon for the win.

The VK actually isn't that bad, in my experience. It's faster and tougher than you'd think, and the gun handling is something you straight-up DO NOT fuck with. It's designed to murder the hell out of mediums, and it excels in that role. I can't tell you how many times I've been focusing one guy, had a medium pop up on the flank, and managed to send a shell straight through their side because they think 'oh, it's a heavy tank, it can't turn that fast.' Next thing they know, their shell is bouncing off my upper plate, and they're staring down that 105's muzzle brake.

I have mine 2 marked. And it really isnt a HT, though WG says it is. Best role is 2nd HT line or go with the mediums.

Wargaming should: -Move the Tiger 1 to tier 6, with the Tiger 131 stats. -Move the Tiger 2 to tier 7, without the top 105mm gun. It would make more sense both from a gameplay and historical point of view in my opinion.

@@hoshyro Could you provide me a source or two and some pictures to support this? It sounds like you are taking about instances where the Russians had a captured tank and shot a million shells at it for fun. Of course the armor will eventually crumble.

@@johnmosser6695 much more simply, when Germany started building Tiger lls the quality of the steel they used for armor was lower, plus Russian 122s had a great stopping power, combining these two factors you have a heavy tank which doesn't work as it should. There are also different reports of IS-2s keeping their ground against Tiger ll platoons Btw, the usual ingage distance used by Russians was about 1500/1800 meters (This I don't know the exact source, but I came to know it from my cousin, who studies international conflicts at his university) P.S. When the armor didn't crack it usually spalled, having pretty much similar effect as HESH shells

Use the T-34-2 stock. The 85mm is surprisingly effective, purely because nobody expects that much rate of fire out of a tier 8 tank.

The Tiger II is not too bad. The second battle (Malinovka) and third battle (Overlord) shows how the Tiger II should be played; glass cannon/support TD. Zwhatsh did very well in the second and third battle. Edvin did quite good himself throughout the whole video with a 1:1 kill ratio in the Tiger II. Alright I don't want the German vehicle fatigue to come in so how about playing with the Comet tank next?

Six years ago, I dedicated my whole life research this fockin tank(without spending any real money), and now the Tiger II has turned in to a leg deformities stray cat with a tumour on its head. I don't know how another server people play like but nowadays in SA server, even you can only shot people 3-4 shot per game you still can be the top three players of the match. Damn It is a great tank, but the good ol' days are over.
