I would suggest that most people with an IQ exceeding room temperature are fully aware of that, even in today's increasingly dumbed-down world. Just so you know, things were "implemented" quite the same way over here in Europe over the millennia, instead of just over the centuries, except that in most cases much more brutally and systematically. If you wish to broaden your horizons, check out a topic called "European history". Spoiler alert: Prepare yourself, because you'll read about some "really bad stuff", occurring just about everywhere. However, surprisingly few people in Europe still say, "But we were here first!"
