I listened to the entire lecture. I would like to know the speakers thoughts on the origins of the Cabala during jewish captivity in Babylon and Egypt and its possible connection to Chaldean Zoroastrianism. It would seem that much of the old testiment concerning the worship of false gods played a roll in the adoption of several of these mystic schools through sects like the Essenes and later during the reformation of the Kabbalah and Zohar during of the 12th century. Also what is your view on the duelistic nature of the law and prophecy Christ/Antichrist etc. If sin entered the world through a perfect man Adam wouldnt that sin need to be purchased from a perfect man, say through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Isn't this why the red heffer is red to symbolize the blood of the messiah?

There is a podcast from Franciscan university where they talk about that. The theologian thinks John the baptist, who was son of the priest, was one messiah and Jesus the other. He thinks John left that Essene community, and went on his own. It is strange that the gospels do not directly mention the Essenes. The gospel of John shares a lot of similarities with Essenes in the phrases. Tradition says that John, the younger, was originally a disciple of john the cousin of Jesus.

In ISlam we are awaiting two types of Messiah, first one is a Priest chosen by God to bring the Kingdom of God and the other is Jesus coming back.

I remember listening to the Bible answer man years ago. The Bible answer man Henagraff is a nice man. Imo he us a light weight from the Dutch reformed church, and could not answer Mr. Laurences questions. Mr. Laurence called him. He asked a bunch of questions about gospel of Luke. Luke gets some of the Hebrew names wrong. We know this about Luke. Luke was not Jewish. He was Paul's doctor. We do not know how Luke met up with Paul. Luke was loyal to the bitter end and was with Paul on the eve of his execution. Luke was rich and went to the best medical schools of his day. Tradition is that Mary, the mother of Jesus, went to live with Luke in his house in Syria. She was a widow and alone. Luke took care of her. Luke had never been to Nazareth. Some people think he was writing what Mary told him to.
