I had a 67 vw... My girlfriend used it to go to the beach!.. On the way back ...she roll over and over... Luckily with the german steel she walked away...;;.of course my vw 67 black low ride Porsche wheels is gone+.

I worked on them for for many years. I still have (2) (73) 7 passenger with a 72 Porsche 911 6 cyl mechanical injection. And a (75) (9) passenger stock. I have my son the ,59 panel.they are all great and glad to see your videos of them still rolling.thank you

At 15:19, over here in the UK, that would be a Gown Van, for the Rag Trade. At the end of WWII, my uncle Len originally with Monty in North Africa Campaign, when he got to Germany, he came back to the Wiltshire, UK, with an original twin rear windowed VW Beetle in Forces Green. I don't know what happened to it around Salisbury Plain, but it would be an Ultimate today.

Within a year from now I will probably have my own Beetle. In the end I want it to look like the one at 22:55, but then a little more green. I have a model car of one of these standing right in front of me. Man, I love Beetles. And we'll have a matching 231011 van, I hope. We're getting the van out of an old barn this summer! :D

Awesome bunch of BUGS!!!! I wish they had this type of car shows here in NW Arkansas! My first and only Bug, was a 69... LOVED T!!! And miss it. But at 6'-7", 270... not a great combo. Back when i had it, i was only 6'-4", 170lb!! Quite a difference... Thx for the video. . .

Great turnout. If we get 50 for a day we get excited! Interesting I noted was the lack of late Bay Windows, so many Splits and Early Bays then a T3. Same with the Type 3's all pre-68, no 70 on. We get the opposite here in Oz more 70s , less 50s and 60s.

Ka-brill-o beach......LOL, it's Ka-bree-o, the double L's are pronounced as a 'y'. No biggy, lots of nice cars. Can't wait to get past this F'in Covid situation and be able to attend some of these events. Just finished my '69 Karmann Ghia convertible, would love to roll out to one of these events.

Extras hatten - Autos gefahren wie ein Fahrrad mit Dach - Aber die Amis heute feiern heute noch die alten Karren von Deutschland - sprich VW! Those vehicles with sharp rusted edges on parts of the body work would not be allowed on the roads in Europe as they would cause serious cuts etc. To anyone they came in contact with. They would automatically fail the vehicle inspection and so not be granted a licence. But some of the rest are absolutely beautiful and a credit to owners.
