Endeavor balled out. He was breathing fire. The man shot fire out of his eyes. Eat your heart out Superman. Endeavor lost an arm and was still able to control his flames to become a condensed, makeshift hurricane of flame in the shape of his arm. That’s fucking metal. He was channeling pure mad lad energy that Deku and All Might would be proud. He was a blazing inferno of living fire that was hellbent on just incinerating All For One. And he would have gotten away with it too if it weren’t for that pesky Rewind quirk. All For One, you sneaky devil. And looks like Bakugo has unlocked a new move with those shoulder guns: Murica! Love the parallels between Endeavor and Bakugo’s development. Both recognizing their own weakness and growing from it and both getting their right arms messed up. Good stuff.

The reason why Afo's quirks rebelled was because Afo gave his original quirk to Shigaraki and he got the copy, so his control isnt as good as original

I’ve adored what Horikoshi has done with Endeavors character progression. Not to mention ‘Kimi no Chikara’ is widely known as the Endeavor theme now. Also, seeing Bakugo inspire the literal pros with his “We’ll do it together!!” line is a true testament to his development and having Miruko finally acknowledge that they’re a team gave me goosebumps🔥

And when all hope seemed lost, the number one hero did the one thing he knows how to do successfully, and he brought the heat! Endeavor’s a great pro hero. That’s just like, a fact, regardless of how I feel about him. In a weird way, this fight kinda shows off his best and worst attributes, as a hero, and as a person. As a hero, he’ll be willing to sacrifice his own arm just to get the job done. But as a person, he’s been running from his responsibility and past for a ridiculously long time, and he’s no different here. He’s been unable to confront his past head on, and will settle for figuratively burning the past for the second time instead of actually continuing to atone like he promised he would. Ultimately, it speaks to the kind of person that he is, someone who’s brave enough to go head to head with a villain like All for One and accept his wrongdoings, but too much of a coward to ever confront his own abusive past and go out of his way to atone for it. He can only admit that he was wrong and continue to run. All for One basically said “You’re awful,” expecting that to drag him down, and Endeavor just responded with, “you’re right, I am awful," and beats him. In a super weird way, I guess Endeavor is the perfect number one hero for society as is. A flawed and corrupt face for a flawed and corrupt society.

Well if u remember when Shiagaraki decayed everything at the start of the first war, he managed to pick up a single bullet that was still intact. He most def brought it to AFO, who then tapered with its capabilities to benefit himself...

The bullets don't destroy quirks. That's an oversimiplification of what they do. According to Overhaul they use a distilled version of Eri's Rewind to rewind a species' evolution. The bullets also contain Eri's DNA. Those are the only hints I'm giving. Add it together with the knowledge of what we know All For One and his servants are capable of.

@jaj6 it's honestly not that hard to use critical thinking to put 2 and 2 together. 1. We know he has COPIES of other people's quirks 2. The quirk erasing bullets that we know they had contained Eri's DNA 3. They showed a flash of the bullet and Eri before he clearly rewound parts of his body that he clearly didn't have during the entire show (ears and eyes) 4. Expanding on the 3rd point, he doesn't have super regeneration as they pointed out twice now. No I haven't read the manga at all but this really isn't hard to understand lol

They'll explain AFO's situation, but AFO is currently rewinding. Eri's quirk can rewind while the bullet was modified to erase quirks. But AFO's eyes and ears are coming back, and we've never seen his face outside of a flashback.

They "removal" of someones quirk with those bullets was just rewinding them before they ever had a quirk, despite eri's quirk is rewind. But, he didnt use it like that, basically he got his hands on eri's quirk somehow and is now rewinding back. Thats why he regrew his ear and eye

From my speculation, it looks like somehow AFO was able to obtain Eri’s rewind quirk maybe from the deleter round. And now he is rewinding his body, before it got damaged severely in his first fight with All might. Notice how he was regrowing ears and an eye. He didn’t have those before endeavors prominence burn. Pretty much it looks like they’re screwed. That rewind is crazy

I think Dr. Garaki reverse engineered the quirk destroying bullet so it can go back to its original form of rewind. All for one used the drug as a last-ditch effort to rewind himself, i'm assuming to his prime before he was even injured against all might. If i'm correct, it's gg's for the heroes where All for one is.

I love how Horikoshi handled Endeavor. He isn't a character you can forgive, and he isn't really redeemed, but you still will root for him. The past doesn't go away, and Horikoshi doesn't write something that let's him get away with it. He's still a piece of shit, but you root for him because he himself acknowledges this part.

This is a speculation/theory (ive not read the manga). When AFO was rewinding himself with his eye and ear reappearing, Shigaraki managed to get hold of the quirk deleter bullets when Overhaul was being transported by police and the sand hero: snatch. MAYBE in between S5 ep25 and S6 ep1 Garaki made more of the deleter rounds by reproducing Eri's blood but also implemented the quirk into Shigaraki (yes with the base AFO quirk) but an addon which was rewind inside shigaraki. So think about it, when Shigaraki broke into Tartarus in S6 he must've given Rewind to AFO (villain) so that he could use it to perhaps rewind himself back to Prime AFO (same time when All Might was in his prime when he said against that Nomu in S1 "Back in my hayday, 5 hit would've been enough")

Since he doesnt have the real all for one quirk, its ability to control quirks is weaker and this applies to the vestiges as well. The manga explained it better in this scene for some reason

Regarding the scene with AFO and Eri and to be as spoiler free as possible: Remember in season 4 what happened with Overhaul? He mentioned that their plan was to sell villains the quirk destroying bullets, then sell the heroes a way to restore their lost power as a "Cure". He was going to sell the problem and the solution, using Eri's quirk. At the end of the Overhaul arc, Shiggy and the gang stopped the police car with Overhaul and took the bullets that were to be taken in as evidence. Now I wonder what happened to those...

He didn’t use a shield, he just put his hand right in front of the explosion and it curved around his hand. It wasn’t shown to curve like that in the manga and it probably wouldn’t work that way realistically, but that’s just the way that they showed it here

I mean AFO and OFA are quirks cultivated over generations, that is why they are 1 in a million out of the world quirks. So, no comparing them with other people who are "normal". The problem is they are so out-of-the-world, they both have no proper endings with respect to the lives of their holders (Tomura and Deku) due to "quirk singularity". A human is not supposed to hold such a thing within them, it will never end well, and I assume that is what we might see by the end of the show.

If you didn’t catch it, Eri’s quirk is Rewind. All For One had stolen Eri’s rewind quirk and is using it on himself so the rewind will continue to go until his body is nothing more which is why he talked about his second body, that being the vessel of Shigaraki
