No joke, the Blue Lock manga is some of the most hype content I've ever read. The way its drawn almost makes it feel like its moving too. Given how season 1 was and the trailer for season 2, most people thought there wouldn't be that much actually animation and they would stick to a lot of CGI and still frames like they did in the past. Let's hope the animation stays at least like this or gets better as the season progresses, since this arc and onwards is INSANITY nonstop. A lot of modern anime today are having serious declines in quality after the first 2 or 3 episodes in a season so hoping they can pull through.

Most people forgot about season one so it’s chill but you should be thinking right now “wait, Isagi should be above Nagi and Bachiru” since he showed them up last selection. Nagi completely gave in and got manipulated by Isagi (becoming the team lead) and even after Bachiru evolved his play Isagi stopped his powered up play. Basically you should see that everything isn’t as it seems here. I personally think the entire point of this arc was to put Isagi in a situation where instead of choosing to play with someone he can easily dominate (Nagi) he choses to challenge himself.
