You guys said there won't be any unnecessary stands of the week. I hate to disappoint but there will be those types of fights. But I think it's much better here. In part 3 it just felt like goon after goon after goon. But in part 4 each encounter adds to the vibe, feel, and mystery in the city. The opening is called Crazy Noisy Bizarre Town. And that's what you'll see in this part. Just a wacky town with wacky stuff going on. In part three every fight was a roadblock to the main story. In part four each fight will bring a new friend, landmark, or experience

It can heal(or repair) anything it touches(that's why the turtle got healed)...but if josuke wants to or gets irritated, he can also distort thing also(which is why the dudes face healed and made him look wierd)... Things to note, as they have already said, Josuke has a kanji pun where "suke" can be read as "jo" too, his name could be literally "Jojo" instead of joining the jo of the first and last name as with the joestar and kujo. And his stand "Crazy Diamond" (name given by Jotaro who thinks that Josuke despite being a nice boy shows facets of a crazy xD) has a somewhat special power. It is capable of "restoring" things to a previous state, such as a broken object to the state where it was not broken, so it can be used to heal, although Josuke cannot use it on himself. Restoring things to a previous state has other utilities that will be seen when passing the chapters. As a note, the things that Josuke restores when he is really angry are often deformed, that is, it is not a complete restoration. And yes, this is the best part of having different Jojo's. They are different from each other, the way they were raised, who raised them, their own values, affect how they do things and have their own personality. In addition, as the stands are the representation of the user's soul, the power that these have as well as the appearance (even the name that will usually be musical references) is influenced by the user himself, his personality, actions, mentality, past , etc. Crazy Diamond for example looks both strong and non-intimidating at the same time. All of him represents how Josuke can be a very nice guy and suddenly go crazy and aggressive when you tease him, as well as being represented in the power he has. Finally, just starting this part they solve a mystery that we left from part 3. How did people get the stands? There are those who were born with them practically, since they were little they had them, but how did DIO get a stand? Those who had a stand can cause their descendants to have one, the Joestar (and "kujo" at that time) have a strong blood bond that unites them with destiny, so the awakening of the DIO stand (and Jonathan, who also developed one xD) forced the awakening of Jotaro and Holly's stand (and Josuke I think ... at that time he was a kid) that's what these arrows are. The best thing is that despite being a different topic in each part of JoJo's, what happened previously is not neglected and is usually mentioned, brought up again or respond to previous things. Although this does not stop being: "DIO what bullshit did you do now?" the anime. And the family tree of the joestar (kujo and higashikata) will become more rare. Yup, weirder than a 17-year-old brat is the uncle of a 27-year-old boy.

Ive seen some people explain some things with jotaros time stop, but also the author has explained that stopping time takes a heavy toll on the body for humans. The only reason DIO could spam it was because he was a vampie and has limitless stamina, where as Jotaro is just a human and it would make him exhausted to spam it constantly in fights, he has to use it strategically, especially since he hasnt used it in 10 years.

Its why Lisa Lisa looked the way she did for being 50 and its also the reason Joseph was pretty agile for an old man in part 3. He could of looked younger when he cheated. I wasn't a big fan of the art style change for Jotaro and Star Platinum. The human bodies look a lot better, but personally, I would have preferred if they kept Star Platinum's design and made Jotaro's face look more like his part 3 face. Also to clear up the release dates for this, I believe JoJo part 1 came out in the 80s, but the anime came out in 2012. Part 4 came out in 1992 but is set in 1999.

Oh my god sorry for commenting so much but a thing to note, Josuke’s “fix” ability is nearly if not instant so when he punched his mom and broke the bottle, he fixed them both while pulling it out, catching the stand in the now fixed bottle instantaneously.
