Structural elements of building

This video shows the important structural elements of the building. These structural elements are roof (deck), slab, beam, load-bearing wall, column, connections, girders, and footing. Each structural element is designed for its own purpose. Beam and slab are mostly designed for bending, column is design for compression , load bearing wall is design for compression and bending, footing is also designed for bending and compression load.
