Awesome! I’ve never seen a cork-bark variegated Pafra tree before

It's so good! I have a number of them that have bark like this including some with large trunks. Keep watching and they will be on eventually. Thanks for watching the channel!! ❤️🌲

Thanks Dave! It reminds me of lillypads on a blue lake. I got it from Etsy - the seller has an endless variety of colors in this pot style. www.etsy.com/shop/PotteryDowntoEarth Thanks for watching!!

Hi Tom. Love how these videos were shot. Super clear. Quick question, would these bonsai's grow faster if they weren't pruned at all?
@CoffeeandBonsaiwithTom2 ай бұрын
Thanks for the compliments!! 😀 They would definitely grow more quickly if I didn’t prune them, but they would also thicken in the wrong places leading to inverse taper and little to no ramification. Most of my trees I want to keep quite small which is why I prune them once the trunk it about the size that I want and I then start to build branches and ramification. The trunk and branches do thicken considerably every year even when pruning, but not nearly as drastically as they would if I grew them in a large container with very little pruning which is a great way to develop a bigger trunk quickly. Thanks for your great question and also for watching my channel! ❤️🌲
