So is shear flow uniform through the section. ? I.e. is it 0.6kN/mm on the top and bottom flanges, the Webb and the plate?

when doing metal trusses does the diagonal bracing have to be at the angle of the roof pitch ? ie my pitch is circa 5/12 with a vertical cut at 65 deg thereafter all the diagonal bracing at 90 deg to the vertical angle

Hi there! Yes the diagonal bracing has to be at the angle of the roof pitch to resist the lateral forces :)

thanks I will be building a 10.5m span so the trusses approx 5.25 so each one will mirror the other @@StructuralEngineerCalcs
