In combined mechanism there is NO Plastic Hinge at the point B.. it's not 6Mp it Should supposed to be 5Mp only.. and it's not the Maximum value... It's minimum value you should take..

You are right at b there is no plastic hinge but at d there are two one right to left and other one upward to downward so 6 is correct

Why are you taking 1/2 deflection while analysing for sway mechanism.. the load is not udl

If the udl is present in vertical side I.e in 4m side then from which side I can find beam mechanism.

For point load the external workdone should be equal to load and total displacement not half as well The plastic hinge will not form at B okay
