Carrollton Texas Fire Rescue & Coppell Fire Department respond to a working structure fire in a Burger King at 4101 TX-HWY 121 Carrollton TX. Fire extinguished quickly with no injuries to occupants or firefighters.

The fire was out FAST. Didn't make for a dramatic video, however, that is a testament to the professional work of Carrollton Fire Rescue and the Coppell Fire department.

Great catch and 360 walk around! Very good response by the CFD!! One thing, what architect and building inspector allowed the rear door to block roof access??? Can always learn something.

I guess the hood and ducts was not cleaned, that's what usually starts these fires, I use to clean them years ago. Great job by the fire department, usually the building is a lost after a duct fire , but these guys did a great job.

That's what it looks like to me. I used to test and maintain the suppression systems on the hoods. They also can get clogged with grease and won't activate properly, which is what I'm guessing happened here.

Restaurant owner here. Water on this fire? I have had small fires on my stove not liquid but solid greese fires and short bursts of water always put it out with the steam created. looking for guidance.

Two quints on scene and the firefighters use the maintenance ladder on the bldg to access the roof. I wouldn’t trust that ladder.

Burger Kings hood exhaust drips grease all over the roof and it collects in the duct; it takes one flame to reach up there from the griller and woosh. Fire suppression get s the flame in the hood but not on the roof.

I for the life of me do not understand why personnel do NOT hear up at a fire scene!!! I don't care if you are a engineer/ pump operator or not, get your bunker gear on!

When I worked in Illinois fire service lot of firefighters that do not go in does not gear up no need if you are just turning knobs those dam things get hot as hell I was on a fast entry team we were in turnout gear scba dawned face mask dawned no hose connected till we got on scene ane and our lead line off the truck .

@@wbuttry1 that's nice. But how much time are you going to lose when you do have to gear up when one or several other firefighters issue a Mayday? At least have your bunker pants on and the rest nearby. On my former dept. We were geared up until we were on r&r or the threat was over.

@@erickaegi629 I understand that Eric lot of dept require turn out at any incident scene. But I do think some here in this video might have been off duty also that just responded. Our engineer never suited up. he was not allowed to go in a residence or anything his job was to stay with the truck only

Never seen anyone go into the front door. Was it locked? Quint primary attack, very nice, but could of been a little better placement of unit. Type of fire, predictable, outcome.they had it nailed when they pulled up. Good job.
