For some reason I struggle to remember the words to pneumonics. I like to find small things the words have in common instead. For example: Cytosine and Thymine both have the letter Y, just like pYrimidine. So then I automatically know that Adenine and Guanine must be purines.

please can you explain the difference between non-coding and coding DNA again? it seems you exchanged the explanation or i did not pay attention. overall best video though keep it up and we appreciate you non-coding DNA----DNA which does not follow the principle Dagoma of molecular biology(DNA>RNA>PROTEIN) coding/sense-----DNA which follows the above principles and codes for protein. i stand to be corrected thanks

Which part? Basically dna consists of two strands coiling around each other. The gaps are called grooves, the major groove is a larger gap than the minor groove. Dna usually twists in a clockwise direction, when it is hyper twisted/ over twisted then it is called positive supercoiling. If it is twisted in a counter clockwise direction then it is called negative supercoiling. I'm not an expert, that's just what I was taught in class.
